About Stay Alfred
Hi, friend. Traveling can be such a grind, can't it? Plane rides wrinkle your limited supply of clean clothes. Hotel beds double as chairs for a cramped business meeting or family gathering. And the normal vacation rental closets bulge with other people's ... who knows what. Or worse yet, who knows who. There's a better way to stay. Located in our cities' most vibrant neighborhoods and desirable buildings, your Stay Alfred is your home away from home, where you can relax and recharge your batteries (figuratively, of course, but literally, too), invite family or colleagues to gather, cook a meal in your fully equipped kitchen and even replenish your precious supply of clean socks in your in-unit washer and dryer. And, the only thing you'll find in our closets are fresh linens and all of the kitchen conveniences you'd ever need. It's our mission to help you feel at home while you travel. Stay Alfred is… Your place in the city.

Great Location - Needs a good cleaning
The condo was nicely decorated. It’s in a beautiful downtown high rise. The location was perfect for what we came to do. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. The kitchen could use a couple more dish towels.
The condo could use an overall dusting and cleaning. As mentioned in another post, the carpet in the master bedroom is stained. I always carry Clorox wipes. I wiped the toilets and bathroom sinks and had so much dirt and hair come off. The floors looked as if certain spots were not sweeped in weeks. Both the master bathroom shower and second bathtub looked as if it’s not cleaned regularly due to the build up of soap scum. I suggest you hire a new house cleaner or conduct occasional check ups on their work.
Thank you for allowing us to rent your property.
Basic accomodations in a good location.
This is a great place to stay for getting around Phoenix. Easy access to the freeway, close to airport, interesting and develooing arts quarter. Garage access is a plus. Building has nice amenities. Pool, rooftop, and enclosed patio/park area are all wonderful. Our apartment had very basic furnishings and was not particularly comfortable in the living areas. One towel provided for each guest for entire week. Would recommend bringing yourself a pool towel if you plan to swim. Laundry is in unit, so that is a plus. We had to call for a service issue and Stay Alfred responded promptly and maintenance took care if things very quickly. We would book again and recommend.
Overall good with a couple minor tweaks
The facility was amazing...rooftop area, pool, gym, etc. The only complaint I had for the facility was that on the weekend, the building staff was somewhat absent, i.e. the main lobby restroom ran out of toilet paper, the coffee bar didn't have cups, etc. As far as the condo went, it was also amazing...beds were super comfortable, condo was clean, etc. One suggestion would be to have some more linens available. There were only four towels for the entire condo. We made due for the days we were there. thanks again.
Fantastic condo in terrific location
Better than advertised. Very comfortable space, everything feels new. Even the fold-out couch was comfortable. This location has some of the best restaurants around, plus it has a very cool art scene if you’re into that. It’s a central location for reaching all of the spring ballparks. My only criticism would be the parking. There’s plenty of space in the garage downstairs but they tried to charge me $20 a day to use it, although in Stay Alfred’s defense, when I questioned that they gave me a parking remote at no charge and agreed that the listing is vague. Make sure you get that cleared up because street parking is sparse. I’ll definitely be back!
Thank you Matt for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back.
perfect home base for spring training
we came to phoenix for 4 days of baseball, sun, and relaxation, and that's what we got. the apartment was perfectly located for access to several of the ball parks by car (we went to cubs, mariners/padres, and brewers), and lots of great food and coffee options by foot. the pool was excellent for post-ballgame dips and the stay alfred staff (particularlyJohn) were friendly and super-helpful. on-site parking was a nice amenity as well. thank you for a great stay!
Thank you Jenn for taking the time to write a review. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your accommodations. Thank you for choosing our property and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back.
Good but not great
We had a 2 bedroom. It was quiet new which was nice. Very contemporary (white). We loved the rooftop patio. The pool and 2 nd floor patio were also very nice. Unfortunately, we had a cold week so didn’t use them much .
Garbage truck seemed to come by about 5 am (beep, beep, beep). He seemed to hang around too long!
Walking distance to lots of fun restaurants!
It is and up and coming neighborhood for young uns, but not so great for us 50 year olds😀
Thank you very much for leaving us a review. We are very sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your experience with us. We ask that you allow us another opportunity to host you and provide you with a better stay.
