This proprty was a major disappointment which impacted our entire vacation.
This property was filthy with dirt accumulations, food splatter and dust everywhere. The air inside the house was dank and musty smelling off old tabacco. The pool heating equipment was not working and the main air conditioning unit did not work until 12 days into our stay. ALL the smoke detectors and fire extinguishers were expired. This property should not be made available in this market and in fact exposes occupants to danger posed by expired alert and safety equipment. Our group feels that this property is not suitable for this market in it's current state and that our rental costs should be reimbursed. Someone, and it should not be difficult to indentify who, is responsible for knowing that this property is not suitable to be on the market. I have taken pictures to support my comments, which have been submitted to Evolve and can be made available to anyone who may have an interest is seeing the state of the property. Pictures of the expired smoke detectors and fire extinguihers have not yet been submitted. Surely in this market, given the rigorous standards for a property to qualify, someone should have noticed that alert and safety equipment tags show they are expired. Who is responsible for checking these things!?
