Look out over the lake and enjoy your dinner as you watch the boats come into the marina. We also have the unique and amazing option of a boat slip for rent right outside your unit, extra fees apply. We have two units to pick from. Unit 212 or 217
The reason this unit is so great is the location to the beach, the pools and the gym. 1 flight of stairs directly to the pier, the proximity to the indoor pool and gym is just down the hall, no elevator!! And the outdoor pool and tennis courts are only one flight of stairs up from your suite, you can take the elevator, but honestly with kids, who wants to wait! I own 217 and 212 and they ca be booked together for large groups. Each has the identical amenities. I also have 2 units across the street in Waterscapes if those are booked. Check out listing Vrbo 377185
We are close to Tugboat Bay, this beach area is
located at the heart of the city, Waterfront Park has unbeatable views of Lake Okanagan, sandy beaches, beautifully landscaped gardens, washroom facilities, paddle boat rentals and boat launches. Observe Kelowna's diverse wildlife that inhabit the Rotary Marshes located at the north end of the beach. Take a stroll, or enjoy the delicious restaurants, located along the boardwalk which follows the waters edge all the way to City Park. If you're lucky, you may even catch some local talent on the Island performance stage
The single parking spot for your car is on the same level as the suite, so there is no need for elevator waits. Your bike can stay right by your car and then you can ride right out the ramp to the pathways or bird sanctuary.
The great thing about this area of town is that you can ride or walk everywhere you need to go, including restaurants and shops. We love coming here to relax and enjoy the warm evenings walking to get an ice cream or biking over the the grocery store. THe beach is really quiet usually, unless there is a festival on, in which case you are closer to the action and free entertainment.
We have also been impressed with the quality of people in this building. A good mix of families and couples either renting or living here permanently. This is not a loud rowdy building...there are lots of kids at the pool, and really nice people to meet as you spend your week here.
We always look forward to our return there in the summer, from the hectic life of Calgary. We think you will enjoy your stay here too!
Please note you must bring all personnel items, condiments and toilet paper if staying more then a weekend. We don't allow stags or staggettes at any of our properties. We take no responsibility for natural disasters, act of God, forest fires, and things we have no control over. We take no responsibility for injuries on the common grounds, pool, tennis courts, etc.

We are a family of 3, My husband and I and our 9 year old son. We have a boat like we like to spend time on in the summer, and we rides our bikes everywhere in town so we dont have to park or take taxis. We can ride for groceries, to restaurants, the park...where ever we want to go and we get our exercise too. We love to watch the sail boats from the deck while we barbecue. There's never mosquitoes out so we can eat out there all summer long! This picture is of our son as we ride through the lagoon to exit out to the lake through the lock system. It feels like a party in here as people wait aroudn with tunes playing, and sun shining. Nothing like a summer day!
Shauna Rowell and Robyn Ring purchased this condo in 2006
HI there. We bought this property with the hopes of spending some quality time together as a family. It has exceeded our hopes of a wonderful family resort that we look forward to spending time at every year! We love the boat moorage, we love the event that happen right outside our unit on the public beach. Free entertainment from festivals, to Canada Day celebrations. We spend time with family, and thus have another unit for when they visit. Everyone loves this location because of its proximity to art galleries, clubs, shops, parks. We all get to do what we like, and can walk to each others location and meet up.
We are close to golfing, wineries, movies, shopping, the beach, and lots of good restaurants! Come and share the fun! We play tennis in the morning, hang out by the pool, or go to the beach. Go boating, rent jet skiis, paddle boat through out the lagoon. Theres a new adventure everyday. We have a boat slip for rent right outside the unit, a very unique quality for downtown Kelowna. Great convenience and fun. Boats can also be rented from local companies during your stay too.
Activites happening in the beach area are:
Beer festival May 9
Fat Cat Children's Festival June 12-13
Play on! 4 on 4 Street Hockey Tournament June 20 and 21
Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival August 29-30
We had three kids and 3 adults on this trip and hall of us had a great time. We stayed in unit 212 with the bunk beds. The kids took the double/single bunk and we took the master, with grandma taking the second bedroom, both the master and second had great views of the water. Balcony was big enough for all of us and we were super close to the pool. Thanks for a great trip! loved the pool towels being supplied, nice touch!
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit had plenty of room and was very clean with all amenities promised. The view from the patio was amazing. We had 4 adults and 2 kids in the unit and never felt cramped for space. The owners were also very responsive to any questions we had, which was greatly appreciated.
Super accomodations for the 6 of us. Grandparents, mom and dad and two kids. Kids loved the lagoon and paddle boats, grandma loved sitting on the patio watching the world go by and my wife and I loved the fact everyone was occupied and happy. Thanks again.
Enjoyed a fun family holiday with the kids. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools, we used the boardwalk for walks along the lake every night and caught love music in the park on Fridays. We also enjoyed the convenient parking space right near our door. Thanks again.
we rented property #47189 for 5 persons ( for July 5-12, 2016, located in Kelowna BC, Canada. Though not the unit we had originally booked, the owner Shauna, convinced us that it would as good if not better than the other which was in a high rise building. The Unit was nicely located with beautiful views of the lake and beach, and close to amenities. However, on our arrival, after a 40 minute wait for the person to arrive to give us the key and tour the facility, it was obvious that the air conditioning was not working, nor was there any TV or wifi. As well the refrigerator was making a serious racket and the cleaning from previous tenants was superficial at best. Shauna apparently called 'Lillian' who manages things at the site for Shauna, and as well, we called Shauna directly as we had her number from the booking change and had a number of text exchanges with her. Shauna asked us to change the filter in the air conditioning unit, which we did - it was quite filled with dirt and dust - but it still did not work. She then wanted us to check the batteries in the thermostat and then said it is probably frozen and needed to thaw out when the thermostat worked. She said the manager (Lillian) was not responding. When Lillian eventually arrived she called an air conditioning repairman who eventually arrived (it was after working hours by then) and fixed the AC. In the meantime, Lillian called Shauna for info for the wifi since she is the holder of the Shaw account, and that was eventually fixed after long delays. As for the refrigerator, we pulled it out to see if the back vent was being blocked and thus the cause of the racket, and were dismayed to to see the thick layer of dust and dirt on the unit's vent - clearly not allowing for adequate air circulation. Lillian called a cleaner who cleaned air duct vent as well as the very dirty floor under the fridge and the fridge worked quietly thereafter. In the meantime, we cleaned the dust and grease on the outside patio table, and rather than clean the equally dirty barbeque, we chose not to use it. Thus the first evening of our stay was spent making the unit livable. We have photos of the issues encountered should anyone wish to see them as well as our texts with Shauna which were very apologetic indeed for the state in which we found the unit. Efforts to keep the place clean during our stay were hampered by a the vacuum cleaner provided having essentially no suction.
This apartment was perfect! It was exactly what the pictures had shown so there were no surprises to us and it was bigger than I imagined. We did a bachelorette party for 3 days and had 8 girls there living comfortably. It's an amazing location and walking distance to night life, great restaurants and the beach. The trip was perfect and my stay here was a large part of that!
We stayed in unit 217 in May 2016. The apartment is in a great location - beautiful views, close to downtown and the beach, and some nice restaurants (and the casino). The 3 bedrooms suited our needs to have our family stay together in one place during our visit to Kelowna. Having a kitchen, dining area and living room is always a plus. Lots of room in the foyer area, with a bench seat to put on shoes. The bedrooms were a good size, and the place came stocked with just enough towels and linens. We didn't use the pools, but the amenities seemed great!
I'm noting the following only because I like reading reviews to read about stuff like this when I'm searching for rental places: Beds are comfy, though on the soft side. The kitchen is stocked with basic dishware, etc., but more a mishmash of (old) cups. We didn't use the kitchen to cook, but kitchen utensils (pots, pans, boards, bowls, etc.) also seemed a mishmash. The apartment is the furthest away from the elevator - can be a plus, so you don't hear people walking up/down the hallway, but can be a negative if you don't like walking a lot; but it is closest to the parking spot. The parking spot is on the small side - our car fit fine, just tight. We would have loved it if there was a coffee shop or somewhere with breakfast items closer, but that's not the apartment's fault.
Just a few minor points to note and why I'm not giving 5 stars (I'd probably give it a 3.5, but I can't do halfs). Even though we gave notice we were arriving at 4 p.m., we had to wait about 30-45 minutes to get the keys and for the apartment to be ready. They didn't seem to check or clean 100% from the previous stay because there was still trash in the guest bath and the previous' visitor's rental agreement in the counter. The apartment building is on the older side. The TVs are old - CRTs!, and internet was spotty at times.
