The house was very comfortable and very clean. The hot tub was super nice and the property even has a ping pong table. We used the bbq grill to cook our meals and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. There were bikes for us to use and passes for the SHARC. I think we had everything we needed for our stay at Sunriver.
For a last minute booking, as usual the house through VACASA was wonderful. It slept everyone comfortably, the hot tub was spacious and the house was in a great location both to the mountain and town. We felt at home which made the trip very relaxing. Thanks
Nice home, close to the village. During the summer it would be a nice walk. We went in winter so we drove the few minutes to the village. Close to Bend. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. We will ask for this house again.
The home is located at the far east end of Sunriver, away from the village. It was quiet and nicely appointed. The kitchen has everything you can think of, minus the ice cream scoop. Deer were frequent visitors so consider bringing something to feed them besides white bread.
Things to consider before renting...
- Upon our arrival, the property management team had not dusted the home nor cleaned up the dead bugs in the window sills. You could not touch a hard surface without encountering significant dust...a consideration if you have asthmatic family members.
- The king bed is an older bed so you will notice your bedmate rolling around.
- There are only 3 ping pong paddles.
- The internet is extremely slow.
- Of the included bikes, only one was a mountain bike and the others were cruisers (the mountain bike was broken and unusable when we arrived).
- The SHARC is crowded all day, every day so the added feature of the included SHARC passes should not be considered a selling point.
Good location, loved the ping pong table. Furnishings and decor somewhat outdated. Overall, a good experience.
We've rented in Sunriver every summer for the last 20 years, so we've seen a lot of Sunriver houses. If this home wasn't so poorly maintained, it would be my go-to rental. On the plus side, the house's layout is good, the location within Sunriver is great, and the deck and the space behind the house are really relaxing. The down side is the maintenance: window blinds that fall off when you close them, a bathroom door that won't lock, another bathroom door that won't close (no kidding), very ratty towels, pillow cases that don't fit the pillows. Not sure if these issues are due to an owner that doesn't care or a management company that's incompetent, or a combination of the two. If you think the price great and you don't mind the shabbiness, go for it. We'll rent this home again if we're told that the problems have been fixed.
