The house is lovely, in excellent condition, and within close proximity to town.
We had a lovely time over the holiday weekend, snug in the snow with our kids running circles in the downstairs. Everything was set up smoothly, the owner was clear and responsive throughout, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would love to stay here again.
Having decided at the last minute to return to Williamstown for homecoming, both the host and the home could not have made the experience any more comfortable and/or seamless. From the outset, the owner's communication was prompt, helpful and kind, and they remained within easy reach throughout the booking process and the course of our stay. The home is conveniently located within walking distance from the town center, and easily accommodated five adults with plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and enjoy personal space. The house was spacious and clean, and the owner kindly made all amenities, including coffee and tea, available upon our arrival. The ease of organization and location allowed us to enjoy a picturesque fall weekend in Williamstown without hesitation, and I would unquestionably return to this property again.
We stayed here for a weekend for the Freshgrass festival at Mass MOCA this fall. The house was perfectly located and ideally suited for our needs with 4 little children. The house was lovely, clean and well equipped. The owners were helpful and accommodating and we would love to stay here again.
As an alumni coming back for the weekend, this was the perfect rental. The cape house is off of the main street into Williamstown, but easily within walking distance. The house is well-kept and very spacious - three bedrooms, two baths, full kitchen and living room. In addition to the space, the owner is absolutely wonderful and was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be renting again!
If you're looking for quiet, relaxed comfort, this charming mid-sized '50s style cape tucked away just a couple of blocks from Williamstown's Main St. is the place for you.
With three bedrooms and 1 full and 1 half-bath, there is plenty of space for six guests, with a large, inviting living room, ample kitchen (everything you need to prepare all of your meals) and dining room. There is also a spacious backyard, though one might wish for more seating and a dining area outside (there is no grill either).
Plenty of parking in driveway; and if you bring bikes you can store them in the garage. One of the best amenities is the location, within walking distance of Williamstown's shops and restaurants, and of course the Theatre Festival (how pleasant to walk to and from the theater in the evening—beats Times Square any day!). Overall this house is a gem (it was spotlessly clean when we arrived), and a great place to stay for your Berkshires vacation.
We absolutely loved our stay at this home - the house was impeccably clean, and Jess was a gracious host who made the stay easy. The house was surprisingly spacious on the inside, with a large living room, dining room and kitchen that allowed us to spread out when we wanted to. It's a very short walk from town, but on a nice quiet block with nice neighbors who waved to us as we walked by. Overall a great stay - we will be back!
