'Ravenseye' is an architectural masterpiece designed by World renowned architect Harry Gesner and is a wonderful fusion of modern architectural style with Gothic castle. Perched on a quiet hilltop overlooking the Pacific ocean, the home is entered through a unique arched doorway. A sweeping staircase leads down to the great room with it's 30ft high vaulted arched ceilings, vast open fireplace and stone mosaic floor. All around are distinctive hand crafted elements and wonderfully eclectic furnishings. There are sweeping ocean views from every room including the three bedrooms. The house is surrounded by lush gardens, several vast decks and patio areas and a pool with a spa. A 1957 Airstream trailer sits among the trees. This truly is one of Malibu's most outstanding and iconic homes. The property is available for long term (furnished or unfurnished) and short term lease. Please email for pricing and availability, as well as a private viewing if required.
Prior to confirming a reservation we will forward a lease contract, house rules and disclosures for signing.

Ravenseye was absolutely fantastic. Private, with beautiful architecture and sweeping views of the ocean. Sunsets are a dream. The pool and hot tub were perfect and grounds are nice. I would certainly stay here during a future visit.
Stayed for a week recently with my wife and 2 children. I never bother with reviews unless i absolutely hate the place, but this one deserves some praise so i'm making the effort for once. Absolutely incredible house! Wow. We all just stopped in stunned silence when we walked in through the big old arch doorway and saw that ocean view, through the most spectacular set of windows i've ever seen. Hard to take it all in. The photos on VRBO looked really great but still didnt do it justice, just the scale of the place. Furniture and decor absolutely dazzling too, just so interesting and tasteful, all sorts of weird and wonderful things dotted around. We were in town for a wedding and several friends came to visit and all just bowled over by the place, my kids never wanted to leave, and even my wife was impressed and she's very hard to please, fell in love with the kitchen. This is the first time i've rented a private home for a vacation, always a bit weary, i always use hotels, but a friend who stayed last year put me onto this one and insisted i book it, so happy i listened. Pretty much the same price as a couple of good hotel rooms but infinitely better value. Trying to think of a criticism now...oh, the third bedroom downstairs is small and had no en suite, my kids had to flip a coin for the other one. But at least it had the biggest wall to wall bed i've ever seen. That's about all i can think of. Pool area was so comfortable that we hardy bothered with the beach. Anyway, there you go, my first ever review and like i say i wouldnt bother but this place was something special and i feel deserves some feeback, i'm seriously thinking of coming back again next year. Oh, and the huge sofa bed in front of the tv is really something special, though we'd all fall asleep on it half way through the movie most nights. I'm back in England now to the rain and grey skies...
Wow, as soon as you enter the house, the view hits you. The plush male interior exudes a playboy lifestyle. It is just the right distance from the ocean.
The only negative was that there are no window coverings on the main level... because of the amazing view. My 4 friends slept outside one evening on the huge exterior bed... can't count this in the list of beds but it's amazing.
Everything in the kitchen was super clean.
The views from this home were absolutely stunning, the location was great. It is certainly something to talk about.
The agent on this home was a doll, meeting us with muffins and juice. However, for the price we were paying, we were horrified by how dirty the home was. The dishes in the kitchen had a greasy, grimy layer and dust all over them. My wife was washing sheets and blankets on our first night, as a turn down for our daughter showed dirty, stained sheets and someone else's clothing left stuffed in the bed. The other beds and living areas needed to be cleaned as well. It was So Gross! Walking around in bare feet, would leave us with very dirty feet.
We let the agent know, and while she offered to have a cleaning crew come, this is not what I wanted to deal with while on vacation, and my wife had already done most of the cleaning so we could sleep. Also, the agent did not refund the initial cleaning charge, or do anything meaningful to compensate their neglect of providing a clean home.
We all loved the view, the pool, and the ease of the location. If they can make sure the house is cleaned properly, this is a great place to stay.
