Jennifer purchased this cottage in 2009
The main house is beautiful and shows a different side of Maui. It's a great spot for taking the Road to Hana, visiting Haleakala, or checking out Paia. We enjoyed all the wildlife and animals we got to see on our visit - from the wake-up calls from the numerous birds and roosters, to the friendly cats and dogs of the neighborhood. Regina was great in giving us recommendations (Grandma's Coffeehouse) and we were lucky enough to be provided with fresh eggs from the chickens! We really enjoyed our stay, away from the resorts and hustle of the other parts of the island.
This is a perfect home for staying on Maui. Although we did not use it much more than for "home base," it has everything anyone would need and more. The views are perfect. Tropical flowers. Lush grass and vegetation. It is a slice of Maui perfection. Regina is a great lady that is always willing to help. She brought us fresh off the tree oranges and nectarines. Juice for the morning and evening drinks! I would highly recommend a few nights at this home. Will be back! Thanks again to Jennifer and Regina for opening up their home to us!
This house was very spacious and comfortable for two with everything we needed at hand. Great place to explore the North Shore and the Hana Road, and convenient to Paia, Makaweo and beyond. The chickens were an added bonus!
We took a quick trip to Maui and stayed in Jennifer's home. It is in the beautiful Haiku area and close to all we wanted to do on our two night stay. The house and lanai have a fabulous view which we enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends wanting an "out of the touristy" experience.
We rented this one bedroom and studio and our guests and I had a wonderful stay! Jennifer and Regina were very easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. Our place was just as described and was perfect!
My wife and I were visiting Maui for a wedding in the up country and this property was located in the perfect spot. Amazing views in the morning, beautiful surroundings, and comfortable furniture. We enjoyed cooking a few of our meals in the kitchen and sipping on wine in the evening. The property feels large for its dimensions. Outside it's quiet, beautiful, and peaceful.
Most importantly, the hosts were fantastic! Very kind people, easy to get a hold of if we would have needed to, but we didn't have to because everything was great!
