Had an amazing weekend great beautiful rental property

                                                    Lovley stay

                                                    Blerina I.

The location was perfect , ample of space and 10 min from the mountain. House was well kept and clean.

The only downfall was that the dishwasher wasn’t working . It would have been a nice perk to have however we managed :).

                                                    Good location, could use updating

                                                    Alisa F.

This property worked well for a ski vacation for 2 couples with children (3 years and 20 months). It was very close to the Sugarloaf downhill and outdoor center and we found it easy to go back and forth from the mountain. We also loved how child-friendly it was. The room on the first floor had a crib and the upper floor had plenty of space for a toddler bed with a third bedroom with two twin beds where an au pair stayed. There were toys to keep the kids occupied and a booster seat. However, the stairs aren't toddler friendly with only one railing and a dangerous opening halfway up. Additionally, they couldn't really be cordoned off because of the design. We were fortunate that our son showed very little interest in them most of the week.

Walls were paper thin which meant that when our son on the first floor woke at 5:30 in the morning, the entire house woke up as well. There was also the problem of the only heat being supplied by the Monitor unit in the living room. This heated up the entire house nicely, but we couldn't close bedroom doors at night because the bedrooms would become very cold. The home is also in need of some updating. The dishwasher is ancient and therefore didn't work. (How hard is it to purchase and install a new one?!) The dresser in the first floor bedroom was small and had a drawer with two broken pulls and the bedside table was also broken. The home could also use some new lighting--the living room area, dining room, and coat storage areas were all very dark even with all the lights in the home turned on. A few overhead or even floor lamps would go a long way. A hot tub was present on the deck which would be so lovely after a long day of skiing, but also wasn't functional. Be aware that the entrance to the unit is up a flight of stairs, so lugging supplies and equipment up and down can be challenging, especially in a winter like this one with the thaw-freeze cycles that left the driveway covered in treacherous ice. Even with the salt provided, we all slipped more than one and some of us had several falls.

Unlike a previous reviewer, we found that we were well provisioned in terms of silverware, plates, and cookware. I would have like a teapot and the knives, as with most rentals that we have stayed in, were in rough shape. (As we enjoy cooking, we always travel with our own.)

A good option for couples with children, but I would probably seek another place next time until some updates are made here.

Fantastic place to stay during a ski weekend at Sugarloaf.

                                                    Michael S.

Three couples stayed here for a ski weekend at Sugarloaf and we were very pleased with the accommodations. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Three separate bedrooms make this property ideal for up to three couples. The property managers were very easy to work with. It is close to the mountain. It is clean.

Cons: One bedroom (the one with two twin beds) does not have floor to ceiling walls. Recommend to bring your own pots/ pans/ utensils. No functional dishwasher or hot tub (could be fixed in future).

                                                    Owner's Response:
