Purchased by Frank Lumber, this home has been renovated by local Craftsman and is maintained by the people who work in the area.
Camiekae Lynch purchased this cabin in 2012
This is one of three properties that are owned along River Road. The owners live part time ~ just down the road and use that property for their employees as a vacation home.
Probably the best cabin we stayed at ever. Clean, Tidy, Cozy, Amazing, Loved every second of it, Thank you! Deff would be back!
Our recent weekend at this property was ABSOLUTELY fantastic.
I'm not sure where to start.
Rolling down the long gravel road to the cabin, I remember thinking, "WOW, this place looks big."
It wasn't until I opened the door and walked around to see how much space there really was to stretch out!!
Kids could play hide and seek for days in there!
It was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the back deck, and anywhere else I wondered around.
You could tell that they really take care of this place. The cabin was very warm and welcoming.
It was very nicely decorated. The mountain shots from all around the state were fun to look at.
Everyone in our party had their own bed to sleep in (didn't need to share)
The kitchen had all the supplies and appliances we needed.(bonus for having 2 refrigerators)
The dining room table was perfect for large party meals.
Having 4 restrooms available meant no one never had to hold it ;-)
The game room had a simple yet perfect Bluetooth sound system that would kick up pretty loud.
(Ping Pong was fun. Wish it was a pool table)
Without turning the music down in the game room, you could still have a quiet conversation in the living room.
There were also many nooks and crannies to break off for down time, to read a book, etc.
Television had DirectTV... SeaHawk football was available!! major points for that.
The screened room for a game of cards or chilling with some wine by the gas fireplace was great.
Everyone had their fair share of the hot tub! Thanks to the random dude that appeared to check the chemical levels. He showed us how to turn up the heat. The tub was set to "economy" I guess.
The lower deck and lower lawn were the main hang out areas if we weren't inside.
We made use of the croquet set and some of the river tubes.
Didn't use the bikes, but it was nice to see them available.
The cherry on top was location, location, location. Riverside.
We were already staying in an amazing, obviously loved log cabin.
Wherever I was: looking out the back door, peering out through the bedroom window, relaxing in the hot tub, lounging on the back deck...
It was so nice to watch and listen to the Wenatchee River roll right by.
Sorry, about the short story.
All ya had to do was read the "Review Title"
"We can't wait to book JR's Riverfront Retreat again!!"
Thanks for the memories!!
ps...Camiekae and Kelly from leavenworthluxurygetaways.com were always helpful and quick to respond.
We stayed at the property for a company retreat and it was definitely a treat. if you need a place to relax, you can do it in the hot tub, rest alongside the fire pit, relax in the sun room, lay in the living room with your feet up, or sit along the river. If you are looking for excitement you can enjoy the game room or use the provided bikes, and outdoor equipment, or just walk just about anywhere and enjoy the view.
There was simply not enough time to fully enjoy the space. I stay at VRBO homes 4-6 times a year and this was one to remember.
Every year at least once a year I bring my group of managers to Leavenworth for team building and some much deserved R&R. I have done this for 5+ years and have never been able to find the perfect house / location. I have found it! My group was 11 people for three days and was even fortunate enough to be able to have family come and stay a couple days after my group left.
The house location as is close enough to downtown Leavenworth for lunch and shopping but far enough as well away that it does not consume everyone and they stay around the house and enjoy the river, hot tub, and game room!
The house has everything you need and I mean everything! Kitchen is fully stocked and the extra fridge in the kitchen area is a HUGE plus with a larger group. One fridge was for all the food and the other fridge for water, pop, and the adult beverages :-)
The float from the river bridge to the house was perfect. The group did it a few times as only takes about an hour. The side yard worked perfect for games but the best part is just sitting in the many comfy yard chairs watching the river go by.
We had a few issues but this is the amazing part - the gas fire pit in the covered deck was not working properly on the first day and I emailed the management company and had an immediate response and the nicest service man was out within a few hours and had it working. Impressive response this was but even more impressive was when the smoke alarm battery outside the master bedroom decided to give out. As always these things go out in the early morning when people are trying to sleep?? I emailed the management company around 7:30 (Saturday morning) I had a response from them within 15 minutes and a representative from the company was at the door with a handful of batteries and apologies in a little over an hour! Very well done.
We are already looking forward to using this house again next year for an even longer stay!!
Big, beautiful, roomy. Very clean. River is right there & wonderful. Look out for the sign to turn down the drive. Would definitely return!
We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful home. The weather was perfect and the home incredibly comfortable whether we were inside or out. We even enjoyed floating the river and the convenience of pulling out right in front of the house. Thank you for opening your home and maintaining its cleanliness. We really appreciate all the comforts of home !
This home is located on River Road, Local Conveniences are just a few miles away around the corner with Plain Hardware, Espresso, Old Mill Cafe & the Plain Grocery Store. Lake Wenatchee is nearby, the trip into Leavenworth is about 25 minutes or 16.5 miles..
