Overview

About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

This delightful Arch Cape house is just one block away from the beach, is dog-friendly, and has all the comforts of home! Experience the ultra-relaxing atmosphere of a very small coastal town and let the ocean waves wash your troubles away.

Arch Cape has few businesses of any kind, which only adds to its relaxing, quiet nature. However, Cannon Beach is about five miles north, so a quick trip into the much busier town for groceries, a nice restaurant meal, or shopping is always an option. However, with the beach only one block away, you may choose to avoid the crowds of a city in favor of splitting your time between the sandy shores and this inviting home.

The upper level of this home has a large space where you will find a nice living room, dining area, and a lovely full kitchen. With a library of books, WiFi, cable TV, a DVD player, and board games available, you and your guests will have many entertainment options, though you may choose to simply enjoy a nice conversation in front of the wood-burning fireplace. A full kitchen provides all the tools and appliances you will need to cook for everyone, whether you feel like a simple meal of pancakes, or a more impressive undertaking of a full brunch. Outside, there's a gas grill.

The lower level of this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home contains a second living room and all the bedrooms: one with two twin beds, and the other two each with a comfortable queen-size bed. This home easily accommodates six guests, and you are even welcome to bring up to two dogs (though they must be no more than 75 pounds and a nightly fee per dog and a minimum fee per stay will apply) to enjoy a run on the beach with you! Outside you will find an alluring deck - go ahead and sit and breathe in the fresh ocean air.

This home would be absolutely perfect for a nice, relaxing vacation to a remote stretch of beach. Stay close to Arch Cape and enjoy the company of your guests, or drive either north or south along Highway 101 to reach larger coastal cities with many more delightful entertainment options.

Bring the whole family to enjoy a restive stay at this charming home with easy beach access, and experience true relaxation in small-but-wonderful Arch Cape!

Great affordable place nothing too fancy.

This place was perfect for our visit to the Oregon Coast. We were looking for a place to rent for two couples and a dog and this place was perfect. We were not looking for luxury as what was important to us was proximity to the ocean and a warm place to escape the rain. The house is cute and located in a quiet neighborhood right of the 101. It has an open feel upstairs in the kitchen/living room/dinning area. The seating in the living room was very comfortable. I did not try the seating downstairs. There are three rooms and comfy beds and pillows. The house has two fireplaces but you have to use duralogs rather than wood. Still gave a nice feel sitting next to the duralog. There is some traffic noise in the bedroom as the house is pretty close to 101. It wasn't loud enough to mess with our ability to sleep, just noticeable. There is parking for 4 cars which was nice. The Kitchen had all your essential needs for cooking. There is a washer and dryer and laundry detergent provided as well as travel shampoos and conditioners and soap. Checking in and out was a breeze as it was all done digitally. We were able to reserve the property a couple of hours before we were arriving. Checkout instructions were super simple and easy. The view of the ocean is somewhat hard to see as there are a lot of trees in the way but we could see the waves break. There are two options to access the beach one being a road and another a trail along a creek that drains into the ocean. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful at both high and low tides but you can really only walk on sand when the tide is lower. If you are looking for modern or updated, this is probably not the place for you but if you are looking for a place that has a little wear and tear but is completely functional, affordable and close to the water I highly recommend this property

Great relaxing place

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I loved the location of the house. The deck was a great place to relax and drink our morning coffee. It was a relaxing weekend for all of us. Late check out for a small fee was also extremely helpful. We didn't have to hurry our checkout at 11am and I would definitely recommend asking if available.

Comfy, Cozy

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect little getaway house. Large enough kitchen. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds. We appreciated that our dogs were welcome. The walk to the beach was short. There is traffic noise, but not too much during sleeping hours. We just turned on the fans that were provided. We had a great time!
