About Vacasa, CA - Central California Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Family time!

  • 5 of 5

For my birthday celebration, all I asked for was that the children and grandchildren be together. This was the perfect place. There was room for everyone to spread out, sleeping space for 12 in beds or on futons, and the deck was perfect for barbecue and meals.

FILTHY- Cock Roaches- Garbage Left in the Yard- Mold in the Shower- Layers of Dust- Dirty, Stained, Smelly Linens - Dirty Dishes in Cupboards- Unsafe Electrical Outlets- Heavy Smell of Mold on Main Floor- Urine around Bottom of Toilet- Unwrapped Toilet Paper Left Sitting on Dirty Cabinet Floor...

I called the evening I checked in, and told the company I could not stay in the home due to the safety issues (mold allergies and my grandchildren were coming). The lead woman over maid services showed up the next morning; and never came back even after seeing photos/videos of all of my complaints, and piles of garbage in the yard. BTW -Raccoons got into the garbage (not our garbage mind you) and my father had to pick it up. I stayed only the one night and ended up paying $3000. for another place in Capitola. I have numerous photos and videos that confirm my claims.

If you don't mind filth, mold, bugs, and irresponsible staff/property managers... this is the place for you. I don't think Disney would appreciate you using their name to describe this house.

Stay at Disney Beach House

  • 4 of 5

Other than a few housekeeping and maintenance issues, this was a nice stay! 30 minute walk to the beach and in a great neighborhood! Close to store, food and drink!

Mostly really great

  • 4 of 5

This was a great location for our family. We loved the space for the kids downstairs and the big, colorful deck upstairs. We were comfortable and happy. There are a handful of areas where the home/furnishings needs updating and attention. As soon as you walk into the house, it smells very musty. We had to open all the windows and air it out for a full day before it wasn't really obvious. The dishwasher doesn't work properly, which I assume explains why every dish/utensil we found in drawers/cabinets was dirty and had to be cleaned before using it. The oven/broiler and the BBQ haven't been cleaned in a while, so we had to clean both before using either. The futons need to be replaced, as do most of the stools at the kitchen counter. The futon that is used for a couch upstairs is really uncomfortable and should probably be better with a sofa bed. If these upgrades were made, we'd definitely stay again.

Good value for the money

  • 3 of 5

Quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and easy access to highway. Overall the house is definitely good value for its location, roominess (3 bedrooms plus 3 futons!) and charm. Appreciate the clean beach towels provided by property management too! My only pet peeve is the linen quality wasn't acceptable - pillows and blankets were very old and some has smell/odor, but these can be easily fixed.

Great place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

This vacation was to celebrate my 60th birthday with my children and their family. The house accomodated us perfectly along with my dog. I had the most restful and relaxing time doing my 5 mile walks in the morning and cooking for my family. The house did not have a back yard so I had to keep taking the dog for a walk but I would not have any issue in renting this house again.
