Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This was like staying at my grandmother's house. This house had lots of artificial dusty flowers and plants. Two corded telephones. Which rang in the middle of the night and at 5 am. The linens and bedding were extremely old and tattered. There were hand knitted itchy throw blankets that did not look like they had been laundered. Pots and pans were very old. The oven was so old I could not read the dials. The clock on the stove had food crumbs under the glass. We have rented homes in Black Butte before and have never had this type of experience. We can not recommend this property.
We spent 2 nights/3 days in this lovely home. As noted above, the photos don't do justice as it is nicer than photographed. Furnishings are very comfy and you feel at home. We had 5 adults and 2 grandkids (2 & 4) which was perfect. Location is close to the pool and the best sledding hill. Lovely setting surrounded by beautiful trees which reflect the sun peaking thru beautifully. Kitchen is easy to work in and has all you'd need. Thank you!
We rented this home in mid November. The living room, dining room and kitchen are large and very nice and the bedrooms are adequate. We had a very nice stay.
Very nice house. Roomy with a nice open floor plan.
Bedrooms were nice and will be greatly improved with some new beds - which were a little on the "worn out" side. But all in all Black Butte is a really nice place that we have stayed at multiple times. Every house we've rented there has been very nice.
We had a great time. We have never seen such an amazing movie selection before. Nice home, very cozy.
This property was very clean, attractive, and met the needs of four adults and two young children perfectly. Pictures are accurate, but decor and furnishings feel much more rustic than they appear in the photos.
The kitchen is amazingly well equipped (two or three of everything), and the DVD collection is the most extensive I've ever seen - hundreds of them stashed everywhere! Problem is, the player is dated, and of the three we tried, one wouldn't play at all and another cut out before the end, which is even worse!
We especially enjoyed the piano, wood-burning fireplace, lots of comfy seating in the common spaces, wrap-around deck with outdoor grill, and the oversized tile entry with plenty of space for outdoor gear. We struggled with traffic flow and dim/non-working lighting.
Overall, we had a fabulous time and highly recommend this area, and Black Butte in particular. Kids loved the large heated pool, adults loved the hot tub. We all enjoyed the horse-drawn wagon ride around the property with spectacular mountain views. Also the miles and miles of paved bike paths. A stroll to see headwaters of the Metolius River was another highlight.
