Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
It was like staying at grandma's house with nothing to do in the rain. The house needs an update. It really feels like Grandma's house. The pictures do not accurately reflect the feel. It was raining which is okay if there is stuff to do inside. 1. The wifi didn't work. When we called Vacasa, they said the house didn't have wifi. When we called back (there were signs all over the house even taped to the counter with the wifi user name and password) they said it did but by then the provider was closed. 2. The Direct TV didn't work. Vacasa couldn't figure it out and said getting the wifi working was a bigger priority. 3. There were no games, cards or bikes. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is a good location.
Nice comfortable open space home. Beds are not that comfortable though.
This was like staying at my grandmother's house. This house had lots of artificial dusty flowers and plants. Two corded telephones. Which rang in the middle of the night and at 5 am. The linens and bedding were extremely old and tattered. There were hand knitted itchy throw blankets that did not look like they had been laundered. Pots and pans were very old. The oven was so old I could not read the dials. The clock on the stove had food crumbs under the glass. We have rented homes in Black Butte before and have never had this type of experience. We can not recommend this property.
We spent 2 nights/3 days in this lovely home. As noted above, the photos don't do justice as it is nicer than photographed. Furnishings are very comfy and you feel at home. We had 5 adults and 2 grandkids (2 & 4) which was perfect. Location is close to the pool and the best sledding hill. Lovely setting surrounded by beautiful trees which reflect the sun peaking thru beautifully. Kitchen is easy to work in and has all you'd need. Thank you!
