LUXURIOUS Million-Dollar Penthouse with PERFECT Location

first of all for this property to be marketed as a “million dollar penthouse” it should have features to match. The cable package was very basic cable, didn’t have any HD channels, didn’t even have your basic channels like ESPN or TBS. Only tv is in the living room. There are 3 bedrooms 1 is the size of a walk in closet. The walls are super thin which Scott the owner or manager or the property never mentions until he sends you the check in instructions. He told me I should read the house rules on another site, problem is I didn’t book through that other site, my booking was through HomeAway. There are no “house rules” on HomeAway. Apparently the downstairs neighbor has super sensitive hearing and calls or emails Scott every time he hears noises which is very irritating. I had family and friends over for xmas dinner and once again the lonely guy on the 3rd floor had issues with that. After reading the previous review and seeing that he had the same issue with the downstairs neighbor it makes you wonder why they continue to rent this unit out. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 6am even on the weekends. But you’re still expected to be silent when it’s not quiet hours. Keep in mind this property is located in a busy part of center city so there’s always outside noise. I wouldn’t suggest anybody Rent this property unless you don’t mind being constantly harassed your entire stay.

Location is great but property has issues

The location of this rental is good. Though not too many eateries close by, liberty bell is a block away.

Some issues for us included that the floors are all hardwood and the downstairs neighbors are apparently rediculously sensitive to noise. Despite having our shoes off the entire time, they complained. Really dont think one ahould have to worry about creeping around the entire time. For a very expensive property, there is very minimal furniture and decor. No blinds on windows in bedrooms so morning comes early through the curtains. There are no curtains even in the living room ( no privacy). Hot water for showers is at a premium ( suspect a very small tank). Master bed was made only with a top flat sheet and no fitted sheet. ( small detail but for that money - expected attention to detail). Some lamps without bulbs. ( emailed manager who was willing to come address - but again, really should not be something to have to address ).

So, to sum it up - not worth the high dollar.
