great view and great location
This property is in a great location with easy access to the city. The listing is accurate to what you can see and has excellent views. The online questionnaire that needs to be filled out prior to check in is a bit extensive, but not too bad. Communication was great and the property managers are friendly, prompt and helpful if needed.
Great view and convenient location
We were in New York for a show during Fashion Week. Staying across the river meant that we could afford a wonderful apartment at a lower cost. We commuted to Manhattan using the Path Train or took Uber through the Holland Tunnel. The view from the 37th floor was spectacular. The train to Manhattan, a market and shopping center with lots of restaurants, were only 5 minute walk. After a busy day at the show, it was nice to come back to a quiet place and enjoy the view.
Outrageous views close to everything
We took our mom for New York tours . Close to Ellis island ferry and ground zero . Perfect location we loved it. Great sunsets and so much more. Thanks Stephanie
Wow! That View!
Stayed in this apartment for 1st week of July 2018. Apartment is exactly as shown in photos and description. Yes... really... an affordable NYC option with THAT VIEW! The place was clean, although could use a good paint job and maybe a new table and some new bed linens (guest bedroom matress pad was stained). 37th floor of a 2-building high rise complex. View of the southern skyline of Manhattan AND the Statue of Liberty (in the distance) from the Master Bedroom and Master Bath. Complex has a pool, but the hours are awful (10 am - 8 pm) - the exact hours when nobody is home! Pool area a little shabby. Nice lobby and easy check-in (just pick up the keys, do not have to meet a person...) Kensho Homes operate this apartment independently and were helpful and quick to respond to all emails. They left coffee and creamer for us and a bottle of wine - nice touch. Front desk at the Monaco building don't seem to care who comes and goes - I was a little concerned about security at times. PATH train directly to World Trade Center is only 2.5 blocks away. Grove Street with all it's restaurants about 8 blocks away. Riverwalk with view of entire Manhattan skyline is directly across the street from the Monaco. We ordered take-out several times from VBIII Italian/Pizza place at base of the building - delicious. Walked to Grove Street one night for Chinese. There is a Shop Rite grocery store and BJ's warehouse behind the building. The 3-story, huge Newport Mall is nextdoor as are several stores and restaurants.(Got a quick, walk-in manicure at the mall one day during a rain storm!) We could have used some spray cleaner or clorox wipes to help us wipe down the kitchen and appliances for the week - there was only a small dispenser of dish soap. Black-out sleeping masks are a must! The apartment is lit up very brightly at night from the city-scape. We purchased a couple and slept much better the second night. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it. I was so nervous that the place was not actually going to be as depicted, but it was! We felt grateful and lucky and WOW, That View!!!!
We loved our stay here!! The view is just perfect!! Great location out of the city but close to enough to be in the city in a few minutes!! Would stay again when returning!
