Our Whistler home is the perfect place for your vacation!
We are located directly across the street from the main Whistler village shopping, dining and nightlife, yet our property is quiet and peaceful.
Just steps to the pool & hot tub, private balcony, cozy fireplace, completely remodeled Oct. 2016. Our unit offers a well sized common space for entertaining and enjoying your time in Whistler and can easily accommodate 6 adults.
We take hosting seriously and have taken great care to make sure that our home is comfortable, stylish and exceeds your expectations!
This unit is special! We have been looking around the Whistler community for a place that we can enjoy, relax, yet- be part of the Whistler action for a while. Sunpath at Stoney Creek is the perfect combination of style, location, and comfort that we wanted and we are sure you will confirm once you step inside. Completely remodeled in October 2016 including all new appliances, linens, furniture, lighting, flooring and updated amenities. Great care was taken to choose organic and natural finishings, yet ensuring that the final product is comfortable, cozy and easy to move around to accommodate different group sizes and activities. My prior career was in hospitality, and I understand the needs of the traveler. Luxurious robes, and complimentary slippers are provided for your comfort and allow you to go back and forth to the pool and hot tub facilities comfortably. A few features we consider "game changers": -washer and dryer in unit -one reserved parking spot (free) and ample guest parking (free) in secure garage -bike storage -ski storage -walk to village in less than 1 minute and only a few minutes to the Marketplace (groceries, liquor). Of course, all restaurants, bars, shopping and coffee are just across the street -this unit faces Valley Trail and Village Park.....your own private yard is just outside the front door. -nearly every window faces a lush forest setting ....and the two that don't look out over the mountain slopes. Main living space is really accommodating when compared to so many other units -deck with BBQ and outdoor space ....all this combined with the new and modern finishes make this space really special and unique!
Our home has a private entrance just around the corner from the heated hot tub and pool. Guests are allowed to use the facilities anytime from 8:30 am 10:00 pm. Keyless entry and keys are available for access to the unit. Check out time is 10:00 am. Due to back to back arrivals during peak seasons, unless you have prior commitment to depart after 10:00 am, you will be charged $100.00/hour until your party has vacated the unit. This is only due to the time it takes for the cleaners to have the unit ready for arriving guests and past guests who have abused the time frames. To inquire about early arrivals or late departures, please let us know in advance so that we may check the schedule ahead of time. We appreciate your understanding.
A complimentary Concierge has been provided to you for your comfort and to make the most of your vacation. Shirley will ensure that the home is cozy and warm upon your arrival, she can pre-purchase your lift tickets, groceries, or make reservations and recommendations for your stay. She will contact you shortly after booking to introduce herself and her services. Please feel free to let her know your needs and any other items that may help make your stay more comfortable. Of course, we are always available both by phone and email anytime!
When we first started looking we thought we wanted a ski in- ski out property, but the more we looked and the more we skied, we realized that we RARELY skied back into our property. We always headed down to the apres scene and then found ourselves ...hiking back up the hill, to the unit. We then realized that after enjoying a post ski drink - apres, walking back "down" to our unit was much more enjoyable!! Sunpath at Stoney Creek is a treat - it really is a classic Whistler paradise! Directly across the street is a complimentary ski shuttle which will drop you off even closer to the lifts if you desire. The ride is approximately 5 minutes. The entire village is outside our front door, as is one of the most charming parks and pathways through the village. Take a look at the Valley Trail through Village Park.
You can walk anywhere and do not need your car once you park in our secure garage. It is less than a 5 minute walk to everything in the village, and just slightly longer to get to the base of the lifts, but definitely less than 10. If you choose, a complimentary shuttle runs just outside the entrance of Stoney Creek to the base of the lifts. For a special treat, when walking to the village, head over the "stone path" just outside the front door, past the water fall, and through Florence Peterson Park which follows the creek and has hidden surprises along the trail.
Other things to note:
We have worked hard to provide all the necessary amenities you will need while on vacation. Each room has a robe, slippers and luxury linens, pillows, and duvets. Classic decor is the perfect blend of modern and rustic. Bathrooms are stocked with basic supplies and the kitchen is ready for cooking if you choose, or a variety of entertaining service pieces. Of course, we supply the basics such as coffee, tea, a "welcome gift" and all the cutlery, glassware and tableware needed. Skis, boards, boots, bikes, and other sporting equipment are not allowed up the stairs. There is ample space at the entrance for storing gear. A secure bike locker is located in the secure garage for your convenience. There is also a bike wash station in the garage. We have sleds available for our guests right next to the front door entrance on the interior. We have umbrellas, two outdoor travel chairs, bocce ball, football and frisbee for our summer guests. Wifi is included as are games and activities and an assortment of movies. We are happy to help accommodate your little ones. Please let us know if you need a crib or high chair rental. We will provide these items complimentary for your stay.
