Owner of inherited XVIII century Palazzo. Through generations, we have kept it in the family as beautiful as possible.
Patricia Sanchez Ferre purchased this apartment in 1600
Property passed down through generations but has been well kept and refurbished through the years.
It has all the charm of the historical city of Florence. In the heart of the city but out of the noisy crowds. You can count with the help of the most helpful doorman and the possibility of parking your car. Even if you do not need a car being 5 mins walk from Ponte Vecchio
We were 5 adults staying in the cottage for 2 weeks and it was a fantastic experience to be in a neighborhood away from tourists. The cottage is beautiful, very clean and very comfortable, with lots of room for all of us. We highly recommend this apartment as the perfect place to stay in Florence and hope to stay there again the next time we go back.
-Close enough to walk to all of the major attractions.
-Lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops, all within easy walking distance. Pizzeria Dante, Golden View Restaurant, Neroma were just a few of the many great restaurants in the neighborhood. Conad is the local grocery store, one block away with everything you need.
-Mario the doorman is great. He showed us where everything is and helped us get whatever we needed. He doesn't speak English so you'll need an Italian phrase book if you can't speak Italian.
-Steep, uneven steps up to the apartment; more lighting would make access easier.
-Kitchen could be stocked better with a few more cooking utensils, condiments, and an espresso maker.
5 adults stayed 5 nights in this fabulous apartment away from the tourist hustle and bustle. An easy walk over the bridge and you are are right there amongst the sights you are in Florence to see. Great eateries nearby frequented by the locals including the best gelato shop where there is always a constant queue. The cottage was clean and spacious with all ammenities you could want making it a home away from home especially after a long day of walking. Highly recommended and I would not hesitate to stay again.
We had a wonderfull one week stay in this cottage.
This cottage ( I want to call" villa") is spacious and furnitures are genuine.
Extremely beautifull residence . Usually we had stress in Hotel stay because there space is limited.
This cottage is paradise,we can live like our home.bathroom, kitchen are clean, bed room is spacious.
Especially, this cottage is Firenze itself,we can feel18 century.
Highly recommend this marvellous residence.
We will back near future.
Don't pass this place up. The location is very nice--an easy walk to the major sites but away from the main tourist bustle. Easy access to grocery, etc. The cottage is absolutely wonderful--spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. Looking forward to our next stay in Firenze!
We spent two marvelous weeks in October in a charming flat in a 17th century Florence palazzo. We were two couples, not very easy to please, but the décor is exquisite with modern amenities, the kitchen very well equipped. Mario, the doorman was most helpful in setting everything just right, even though his English is minimal. Around the palazzo there are excellent restaurants and small artisan shops where we bought lovely presents to bring back home. The Piazza de la Signoria is just a 10 minute walk away, but the flat is isolated from the tourist noise and bustle. It is so quiet and restful, that the afternoon light, during the days we spent there, took us back to what Botticelli must have felt as he painted in the 15th century.
In the heart of Florence,Santo Spirito area. Downtown but out of the busy touristic area, 5 min. walk from Ponte Vecchio, 5 min. from Palazzo Pitti, beautiful calm streets full of antique shops, artisans, and local 'trattorias'.
