Luxurious house, Quiet & clean lake, great people, Poor People's Pub right down the street and Wolfeboro is very close
Amazing living area with L-shaped bar that seats 10 and a huge dining table that seats another 8 - all with a wide open view of the lake. Also boasts a very large deck that connects directly to a finished boat house that holds a boat in the lower level and bathroom, fun area on upper level. The kitchen is awesome!
I came across this home while searching for a vacation rental on Lake Winnie. I'm SO glad we found this home and decided to give Lovell Lake a try instead! The home was absolutely perfect for our needs...providing ample room for myself, my husband, our toddler, my sister, my brother, his wife and teenage kids, and our mom. The bedrooms offered various types of accommodations/bed sizes, which was great for adults, teens, and toddlers alike. The dining room and bar area was absolutely perfect for our dining needs. Not only was the table itself large, but the barstools provided plenty of added seating and the bar was the perfect buffet to serve dinner on each night. Preparing meals was easy in the fully-equipped kitchen with double ovens...we all commented several times on how well equipped the house was overall (especially kitchen/cooking supplies). That about sums up the inside...and it gets even better outside! The dock was the perfect size to accommodate our 21' boat, with room on the other side for our double kayak. The house also came equipped with two single kayaks, which we enjoyed using, and a swim-up dock that was great for sunbathing or tying a tube to and floating in the lake! The grassy area by the lake served as the perfect spot for daytime yard games and marshmellow-roasting fires in the evening. The deck was wonderful for having lunch al fresco, the grill was newer and clean, and there was a boathouse that provided additional sleeping space (though we didn't need it) and another fridge. Lovell Lake itself was perfect for us...not a heavy-traffic lake, quiet, and perfect for tubing. The owners were kind, responsive, and accommodating...even the year-round neighbors were super-friendly and nice to chat with! I'd highly recommend this house to any family looking to have an unforgettable vacation!
Loved the house, loved the lake. Separate Boat House was awesome for the kids especially because we started our week with a couple of days of rain. Extended family visited and at one point we had 11 people and there was plenty of room. Once they left, however, the house was too big for just 5 people. We had my 81 yr old father with us so the first floor bedroom and full bath was great for him. Everyone loved the ice maker at the bar. The frig in the kitchen and in the Boat House plus the small one at the bar gave us plenty of room to store food and drink. Getting the linen/towel service was a smart move for us. The dining table was huge and perfect for a 2000 piece puzzle that occupied us during the rainy weather. The lake was clean and not mucky or filled with plants. The sunsets were unbelievable. We loved taking the kayaks out. Having steps into the water was great for easy access to swim and even get in and out of the kayaks. The lake "traffic" was minimal. The lake was visible from just about every sleeping area and windows lined the dining/living area. The house was super clean upon arrival. There really was no reason to leave once we got there. We would recommend this house to families that want to relax and reconnect, but don't want to be on top of each other. A definite destination for family reunions. We would love to return next season. It was awesome!
This house is perfect for large family vacations. So much to do to keep people busy all day and evening. Our kids loved it. Gorgeous sunsets and lake views. Quiet, super clean lake. Great amenities to make you feel right at home. Very clean. We are already making plans to return next year. Great Lake for kayaking, paddle boarding and water skiing.
We had a great time and the house was in immaculate condition upon arrival. The view was amazing and the house had everything that we needed. We can't wait to go back.
What a beautiful house, lake, location, everything. The house was spotless when we arrived. Huge kitchen with plenty of room for everyone to do their thing and get dinners ready for a large group. We had great times swimming out to the floating dock, kayaking, canoeing, running (around the lake is 8 miles). There were plenty of beds to fit tons of people. The back deck was definitely our favorite place...watching the sunset over the lake was spectacular. The firepit in the back yard was great too and made for some special nights around the fire, roasting marshmallows. Very relaxing and quiet. Loved it.
We had a great time at the lake house All the kids had a great time. The floating raft and boat house were a huge hit. The lake was warm and clean. Great for swimming, floating, kayaking etc Lots of fun. The views of the lake from the deck were amazing. The house was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The owners Justin and Jodi were friendly and easily reached before and during our stay for any questions we had. We would rent this house again.
