Why Michael D chose Dallas
I love modern and mid-century architecture. This home is an ode to the "Rat Pack" and the 1960's. Each room has a theme and you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the lifestyle of Frank Sinatra, Jack Kennedy, and the emergence of the Jet Age in the 60's. The house lets you be a part of that culture yet it has every modern amenity. From Netflix to Amazon Prime for the modernist, to a console record player with Vinyl albums from the 1960's your get to live in the modern, and mid-century modern times.
What makes this House unique

Good house and good location. Very nice kitchen and master bedroom bath was very nice.
I thank you for your business and your review. I am curious what would have made your experience in the mid-century modern oasis a 5 star review? As you can see from the other reviews 99% are 5star reviews. Was something not to your liking? Did the home not meet your expectations? I hope you'll take the time to expound on your review and let me know what you felt wasn't a 5star experience.
Quick trip to Dallas
We were fortunate enough to find a wonderful home to borrow for a few days for a quick trip to Dallas. Appropriately named the “Mid Century Modern Oasis”, we found the house to be a beautifully updated 60’s home complete with Rat Pack and Jet Age memorabilia. Period magazines provided us a stroll thru the past, reminding us of a simpler time. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with every amenity close by. We felt safe walking our fuzzy child around the night we arrived to stretch our legs.
The house instantly felt very comfortable to us. Between the owners impressively accurate directions, thorough instructions for household appliances and gadgets, we felt right at home.
If you’re ever in Dallas and the schedule lines up, we highly recommend staying at Michael’s Mid-Century Modern Oasis.
The House was a Plus to my first visit to Dallas
I absolutely loved the house! I felt at home as soon as I walk in the door and the mid-century look was fabulous. Thank you for making my first visit to Dallas an excellent experience. When I come back to Dallas and bring my husband I want to stay at the oasis again!
Great house in a great location.
This house was so much fun. Decorated in the era of the Rat Pack with great attention to detail. Blocks from the Inwood/Love Field DART station. Hope to stay again in the future!
This property was so much more than we expected. The retro decor and themed rooms are fantastic and so well appointed. The living space was open and very comfortable. We spent our Christmas here and just loved it. The beds were comfy and the master bathroom was HUGE!. Yes its underneath a flight path but you barely know it. Great location, ample parking, nice outside fire pit. Michael was very accommodating and on top of everything and gave us an early check-in and late check-out. Loved it!!
Nice location and well kept home.
Our family used this property over the Thanksgiving time. There were 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a toddler in the 3 bedroom home. The home was roomy and provided privacy for all of the occupants. The backyard with the fire pit was great to sit and visit. The location was convenient to Love Field and the home of another family member where most of the activities occurred. We would consider using this property again when we need space for multiple family members.
