About Ivana Franceschi
I live in Dubrovnik, where I was born. I enjoy sports, specially running and free climbing. I love animals and nature and very often I go for a walk with my dogs. I enjoy cooking and there is nothing more inspiring for me, then to wake up early in the morning and go to the market to buy fresh groceries. I am the owner of the company 'Adventure Dalmatia', which offers tourists a way the spend their vacation exploring the beautiful coast of the Adriatic sea. We specialise in organising hiking, kayaking and biking tours.
Ivana Franceschi purchased this Villa in 2006
Why Ivana Franceschi chose Postira
The island of Brac is the third largest island in Croatia. It is easily accessible from airport in Split and ferry from the Split port takes only 50 minutes ride the the island. Situated in the ethno village of Dol, villa provides the feeling of peaceful and relaxing place, away from traffic and city rush. Crystal clear sea, small beaches and Mediterranean landscape makes it ideal rest place for both body and soul.

A little Slice of Silence
Excellent property on the outskirts of Dol where you can recharge the batteries. All you will hear is the sound of the bells of the local church and nature in the background. Dol is a quaint eco village with three restaurants and a grocery store. The view down to the sea to Posteria and the surrounding countryside. Recommend for those who want to get away from it all.
Fabulous location, away from any crowds
Lovely villa in peaceful, idyllic location, yet only a few minutes drive to the quaint village of Postira. Amazing views.
Peace and Tranquility on Brac
This beautifully restored 200 year old stone farmhouse sits on the edge of the historic village of Dol situated on hillside with valley views down to the little Adriatic port town of Postira, with views beyond to the high mountains on the Croatian mainland five miles across the sea. The setting is so quiet and peaceful we hated to leave.
The farmhouse is wonderfully furnished and equipped. The property is set beautifully with an awesome shade tree over the outside dining area. The pool is impeccably maintained. Every aspect of this property was perfect.
We rented Villa Dol for the entire month of June 2019 and loved every minute of our stay. From our first contact with Ivana for the booking until the last day of our stay, Ivana (owner/manager) was warm and welcoming and she and her capable staff saw to our every need.
In summary we loved this villa, the village of Dol, the island of Brac and our lovely host Ivana and her staff. Recommend 110%
A fab villa on a lovely island. Great value for money.
Beautiful traditional house in peaceful village. Lovely pool with stunning views.
Had a wonderful relaxing week with children aged 17 and 12, who also loved it. House was tasteful, comfortable and clean. Likewise beautiful pool with great views across the valley and to the sea at Postira. Fabulous sea and beaches close by, as well as good and friendly restaurants. We enjoyed renting bicycles and using Ivana's kayaks at Postira. Ivana was very helpful with queries before the holiday, and then sorted out a minor problem for us very quickly. Could not fault the house or the holiday, would love to do it all again.
Beautiful property in a lovely village!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home! The house is gorgeous and filled with everything you could need. The grounds are lovely and the views are spectacular. We relaxed by the pool taking in the peace and quiet of the area. The village of Dol is quite beautiful, full of picturesque stone buildings. There are a couple of restaurants and groceries within short walking distance, and Postera is a few minutes drive to a sweet port town with shops and restaurants. Ivana (and her adorable dog) were excellent hosts and made sure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend this property for its beauty and quiet yet convenient location. I wish we could have stayed longer than a couple of days. Spend some time and settle inand you won't be disappointed.
The nearest beach is in Postira, 2km far. It takes 5 min by car, 10 min by bike and 30 min on foot.
There is also famous sand beach Lovrecina, historical and archaeological site, 6 km far from the villa, as well as several other pebble beaches located all along the coast nearby (Molo Lozna, Rot, Vrilo).
One of the most famous beaches on the Adriatic sea, Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape) is located in Bol, on the southern coast of the island of Brac.
