We have lived in Michigan for many years and have enjoyed all the activities it has to offer.
owner purchased this Cottage in 2011
Why owner chose Cheboygan County
We first discovered this popular area of Michigan many years ago. We enjoy it and frequently use our family cottage which is close by. It is our escape from the work and we love the tranquility and enjoy all kinds of water sports We found this rental cottage close by and bought it several years ago. We renovated it and it is now proving to be a popular place to stay. Bring your boat, canoe, kayak and fishing gear and enjoy all that Burt lake has to offer.

Very nice cottage setting on a great location on the lake.
Had a wonderful time. Cottage was very comfortable, perhaps one of the nicest I have rented over the past 30 years. Rural area yet close to towns and activities if you choose to leave the peace and quiet.
Thank you for this great review. We love this lake and this spot. Come back and see us again!
Awesome clean and comfortable right on Burt Lake!
We had a great time! Owners were great to work with. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Can't wait to visit again!
Cozy cottage with great view
This cottage was very cozy. Our family loved it. My five-year old son quickly made it his home after we got in. He enjoyed the games, was excited to sleep in the top bunk bed for the first time (he did it very well). I extremely enjoyed the sunrise. The sunrise was so beautiful in both rainy/cloudy day and sunny day. We got to have s'mores by the lake too. We look forward to coming again.
Amazing little cottage on the lake
Amazing views of the lake from the the bedroom, watching the sun rise in the morning! The place is well kept and very clean. We were here after Labor Day so it was really peaceful. We would love to stay at this property again in the future!
The view was fantastic, the house was super clean.
We had a fantastic time! The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathrooms were updated, the views from the lake side bedroom were dreamy! Plenty of sitting space in the living area. The deck and lawn were spacious. Beautiful rental! Moira was super responsive and helpful! Thanks for a great week!
Great place to vacation!
It was very quiet in this area the whole week long. Beautiful view directly on the lake. Our own fire pit, dock, swim area and especially the peacefulness we experienced this week. All necessities provided in the cottage. Convenient boat launch at Maple Bay. Dick and Moira were very kind and honestly, this was probably the most comfortable cottage I've stayed in. Oh...our largest fish caught was drifting out in front of the cottage...25" Walleye! Not bad!
