Thank you for the splendid hospitality!
We love your apartment!
Had a great time, the apartment was very clean and tastefully decorated ,everything we needed was at hand . Location was good.
The only negative was that it could have had extra pillows on the bed.
Overall we enjoyed the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and accessible with a nice grocery nearby. It would be nice if there was a door between the living area and the bedroom and perhaps a lock box for after hour entries.
Marten warmly greeted us as our taxi arrived at the apartment. The online photos provide a good representation of this unit which is very well equipped, clean, safe & comfortable. Although buses and trams are available close by we were within walking distance to Centraal Station, Amsterdam Museum & many other points of interest.
It should be noted this second floor unit is accessed via a steep narrowing stair case. Individuals with mobility issues would experience difficulty.
Apartment is spacious and clean. Well decorated with modern appliances and amenities like shower and bathroom. The apartment is on a quiet street close to restaurants and major bus routes. Be prepared for a steep flight of narrow stairs from the street level to apartment door. However this is a common situation in Amsterdam apartments and you get use to them. We can definitely recommend this place.
Had a great stay in Amsterdam here! Marcus was very accommodating, helpful and welcoming. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who is travelling to Amsterdam!
Marten's flat was the perfect place to stay during our 3 day trip to Amsterdam. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and Marten was a wonderful host (as much or as little interaction as you'd like to have). The apartment was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The rain-showerhead was an unexpectedly nice luxury. I would recommend this place and this area to anyone wanting to experience Amsterdam in a less touristy fashion, but still be close enough to all the "main" attractions as well. Thank you Marten, we will be back!
