Thank you for the splendid hospitality!
We love your apartment!
If you're looking for a comfortable, very clean apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Amsterdam, this place is for you. It turned out to be the perfect spot for a wonderful week in Amsterdam. We had everything we needed (including a washer/dryer). Close to all public transportation, shops, restaurants and easy to get to all the museums and sites in town. There is a park nearby with a great bike path and restaurants, Westerpark. We liked it better than Vondel Park because it was not filled with tourists. Our hosts took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed, including leaving a fan at our front door because it was a very hot week! There is already a room air conditioner, but he thought an extra fan would help. Although it was very hot outside, the apartment stayed cool. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam. We looked at a lot of apartments before we booked and so glad we chose this one. It is as advertised - clean, comfortable and in a nice neighborhood. Don't let the warnings about the stairs scare you - it's no big deal after the first time you go up and down!
My husband and I stayed at this apartment in June and it was just as described on the site. The apartment itself was excellent, everything was bright and modern and anything we needed was taken care of. The location was also great, we could easily walk to all the locations we wanted to check out.
We'd definitely recommend and would stay again if ever back in Amsterdam!
The apartment is lovely and bright. Very clean and welcoming. Ideal for a stay in Amsterdam for a couple. Neighbourhood quiet with plenty of shops within a five minute walk for food. Very near Jordaan neighbourhood which has numerous resturaunts and pubs.
Good public transport although you can walk or cycle anywhere.
Stairs are very steep and narrow but hosts helped with luggage.
Would definetly return.
There's a bit of a twist here. The day before our arrival the apartment was badly damaged by a flood. However, our host covered the expense of our stay in a very nice, very well-located hotel. So while I cannot comment on the apartment, our host accommodated us beautifully. We certainly got the best customer service we could have hoped for!
Very well kept apartment, centrally located. Very nice and attentive staff and owner. Looking forward to my next vacation in Amsterdam.
Apartment was very modern and had everything you needed for your stay. Was about a 20 minute walk to the centre and about 10 minutes from the Anne Frank museum.
Host was great and gave us lots of information. His apartment was above this one in case you needed him, but we didn't and therefore had privacy the whole time.
There is a supermarket on the next street for all your essentials.
Would definitely stay here again if visiting Amsterdam.
As others have said there are very steep steps up to the apartment, but this would be the same with most places that are within a typical Amsterdam style building and not on the ground floor.
The apartment / suite is located right in the heart of the city just a short distance from Central Station. The apartment is a short walk from Dam Square, the traditional centre of Amsterdam and home to the Royal Palace, one of the most stunning buildings in the city. Dam Square is also home other attractions such as Madame Tussauds, The New Church, The National Monument and De Bijenkorf department store. Just off Dam Square you will find shopping streets, bars, cafes, restaurants, China Town and the infamous Red Light District. The location of the apartment also makes it easy to fully explore the Amsterdam Central canal Belt, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring stunning canal houses dating from the Dutch Golden Era. The Central location of the apartments makes it easy to walk to almost anywhere in the city, and the apartments are extremely well serviced by trams and trains.
