Well maintained, beautiful location
Comfortable beds, easy access, great location, assuming you're after an isolated place. Nice touches like a full compliment of pots and pans, a comfortable office chair, and a gas fireplace were all appreciated.
Fun time away
Our family had a wonderful time up at Irish Beach. It was great to get away from the holiday crazies and play on the beach, go horseback riding and explore the area. I'm looking forward to returning some day. The house was great. Thank you!
Great view, clean and comfortable lodging.
Gorgeous view, cute clean comfortable place. The decor was very minimalistic and soothing. Although it was small, there was a nice variety of places to sit and enjoy the view. Loved the "fireplace". There was a little loft upstairs where one son slept, the other took the queen bedroom. King bed was comfy. The kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay again! Ate at Bridget Dolan's in Elk one night and would highly recommend it.
A wonderful place for a beach getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely little house - was perfect for a small family getaway with our dogs! The walk down to the private beach is a perfect activity and we walked for miles on the quiet, uncrowded beach. The Point Arena lighthouse is just 15 minutes away - the tour is short and informative, and the view from the top of the lighthouse tower is amazing and worth the climb. We saw many whales just off the shore! The little town is also cute and has a nice market as well. Mendocino is about a 35 minute drive and worth the drive - charming town with lots of cute shops, as well as great walking trails along the coast. Two couples can comfortably stay, as well as a couple of kids in the little loft upstairs (tiny spiral staircase makes the climb fun!). Overall, a quiet, relaxing time away.
A couple and their dogs
Awesome location. The house is airy and bright as well as spotless. The bedrooms' carpeting is soft and lush. The bed was super comfy. We hope to return soon.
My family stayed here for a couple days and LOVED it! The house was cute and the views were amazing! We drove into Mendocino for an afternoon, played on the private beach, and just enjoyed the house and the patio. Perfect place to relax and take in the views. Thank you for opening your house to us, we loved it!
