Comfortable modern Duplex house with sitting room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms one en suite and bathroom. Small balcony front and back. Open gas fire in sitting room and gas central heating. Located in a quite, peaceful residential area close to pub, convenience shop, garage, restaurant and small hotel. All the facilities of city life are within easy walking distance or 5 minute drive. This is an ideal location for the independent traveller who wishes to visit the South West. As well as exploring Limerick city and its many places of historical interest there are many beautiful and significant places to visit within half hour drive from the house. It is also a good base to take day trips from here to Clare and the Cliffs of Moher, Dingle, Blarney/CorkKinsale or Galway; all within one and half to two hours drive. Trains and busses also operate from the city centre to provide access to many locations for those who do not drive.
Lovely comfortable home, easy to get to town. Washer great but all in one dryer was not doing so well to dry. Owner very attentive to needs. Overall excellent holiday, will definitely rent again
This is an excellent property. Anne and Collin are very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The duplex is very clean and was even stocked with the essentials upon arrival (including food). That was so nice as we were excited to start our vacation and did not want to make an immediate trip to the store.
Good central location! We toured the South West by car and when we decided to go to Dublin, caught a bus from Limerick. The bus station is not far from the duplex. We walked - about 20 minutes.
If ever I get back to Ireland, I would definitely rent this duplex again!
A lovely condo - clean, well appointed and comfortable. Great location close to shopping, Dolan's Pub (recommended by Colin and we concur), easy driving distance to the Cliff's of Moher, the Aran Island ferries, the Burren, a number of great golf courses, including Lahinch, Ballybunion, Doonbeg and Adare Manor (located in Adare which is also a must-see village). We chose this site for it's easy proximity to Shannon Airport where we would be catching our flight home. We did not then know how much there would be to do nearby. We do hope to return! Thanks to Ann and Colin for a lovely stay!
This townhouse was perfect in every way, location, convenience, safe, comfortable, clean, and charming. The home had everything you need to make your holiday grand. The owners are so kind and helpful, they greeted us warmly on our arrival and had stocked the kitchen with bread, milk and a few key essentials. Besides the lovely city of Limerick there are so many sites two hours or less away from this home to visit, so it is the perfect base for exploring the west and south of Ireland. I would definitely stay here again if I ever have the joy of returning to Ireland.
We love the location close to city shopping, pubs and motorway. The apartment was large and well equipped. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a care free relaxing vacation. The parking was easy and safe.

Limerick is a modern small city steeped in history on the banks of the River Shannon. It is of archaeological importance with evidence of settlements dating back 3000BC and has a fine Norman castle built circa 1200 and other buildings of this period are visible throughout the area. Lough Gur site of one of the oldest inhabited areas in Ireland, Adare a quaint historical village with thatched cottages, manor and abbey, Bunratty Castle and folk park, Ennis, and pretty Ballina Killaloe villages on the shores of Lough Derg are all within half hour drive. Golf, equestrian or fishing are also within easy commute. Ideally suited to day trips to Blarney Castle, Cork city, Kerry, Galway city and Cliffs of Moher approx 1 and half hours drive. Ballyhoura forest park with walks, mountain climbing or biking trail. The Hunt Museum, University of Limerick campus at the Technology Park or Foynes Aeronautical museum are also worth visiting. Limerick has also many good shops, pubs and restaurants.
