Convenient location, well stocked condo. Really nice lanai and ocean view.

  • 4 of 5

The condo is nicely located right next to Kona so we were easily able to walk through town and shop. There is an ABC store nearby for essentials. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby too. Next door is a nice resort that does luaus. Safeway, Walmart, and Costco are within driving distance for groceries. The condo was well equipped with essentials that we needed including everything we needed for our beach excursion (cooler, zip lock bags, sunscreen, towels, mat, umbrella and chairs). It has a radio, DVD player, books, salt, pepper, olive oil, pots and pans, and plastic and regular dishes. The pool and hot tub areas are really nice as are the grills that we used for grilling our dinners. The view of the ocean from this particular condo is nice and much more private and quiet than the condos near the pool. We were able to see whales, surfers, para sailers, etc from our balcony. The owners really tried to make sure we had most everything we could need including dishes, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. I would stay here again if I came back to this island. It was clean, well stocked, nice firm bed, etc. We had a great time.

Feels like home.

  • 5 of 5

I always enjoy coming here. The place is clean (spotless) and has all the things that we may need without having to purchase esentals. The bed is comfortable (no back aches) and the sound of the ocean is always with you. There is plenty of storage for our stuff and it's easy to keep the place look great because it is not cluttered! I love coming here and look forward to it each year!!! The town is a short walk away and all the resturants are at hand. The kitchen is well stocked and organized so that cooking at home is easy. Thank you for all.

Peaceful retreat

  • 5 of 5

The condo was clean and exactly like the pictures. I love this place. Close to everything and only used 1/4 of a tank of gas because I did not have to go anywhere else to get what I needed. Thank you for being there.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We appreciate how clean the condo is along with a well stocked kitchen with dishes and cooking utensils. A highlight is sitting on the lanai watching and hearing the waves crash on the rocks. This is a condo we always select for our stay in Kona.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

This place is clean, neat, well-equipped and the location can't be beat: the bed is comfortable, there are plenty of supplies (tissue, soap, ...) and equipment (table fans, beach gear, ...), the upper level lanai is an unobstructed stone's throw from the water, and Kona amenities are a 10 minute walk. See the other reviews for details. FTR Dan is supportive and easy to work with. We've booked it again for next year.

FABULOUS!

  • 5 of 5

Besides the Kona Reef Resort's immaculate grounds, this unit is completely comfortable, relaxing, well stocked, well supplied, incredibly clean and has an awesome bed! Really only one word describes this unit, fabulous! We have stayed in four different units in the Kona Reef Resort within the last six years (sometimes twice a year ) and D-27 completes our needs and exceeds our expectations and beyond! Detail is key and Dan has a handle on that! It was a total pleasure to work with him. We fell in love with the unit immediately that by our third day there, we made future reservations, we finally found our true Hawaii home away from home!
