There are absolutely no events allowed. The property is not zoned for event rentals, and due to past issues, owner will enforce this prohibition strictly, and have any unauthorized event shut down.
Fantastic antebellum presence with a patina all its own! Great for big families!
We stayed here with our wedding party for a week. It was large enough so that nobody felt cramped and had plenty of bathrooms for 18 people to shower. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
This beautiful Antebellum home will take you back in time. Eat in the grand dining room/ballroom at an antique table that seats over 20, play pool and have a bourbon in the billiards room or walk through the floor to ceiling windows that open to the porch to check out the gardens, you get to live like the old Southern rich use to live. At least for the weekend. Then retire to the master bedroom which takes up the entire 3rd floor and enjoy the jacuzzi tub.
We enjoyed everything about our stay, and the owner and property manager were so helpful. Best weekend in New Orleans, ever!
It was a wonderful stay. We rented this for the entire bridal party for my daughter's wedding. Everyone who stayed there was thrilled with the property, the location as well as the sleeping arrangements.
The owner stopped by as well and visited with them to make sure everything was going well. Highly recommend the property.
We loved our stay at the house! It is located in an awesome location and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The beds are comfortable, clean linen and towels, and the house is huge. The front porch garden area wonderful sitting areas. HOWEVER, the house was not clean to my standards and 2/4 bathroom showers were not working or draining properly. The lighting in the bathrooms either were broke or you could not see to put on your makeup. The stairs and areas were not vacuumed. I would rent again, but those items need to be looked at... clean and working plumbing is important to me! Love NOLA
Overall the stay was very enjoyable (Property location, size of dinning room, outside patios, convenience of kitchens, bedrooms with attached bath, size of built-in cold space in main kitchen, kitchen wares, barbecue grill, ...).
