Just steps away from the lake, Lakeshore Four Cottage offers an escape for you and your family. Located in the quiet family-focused neighbourhood of Lindell Beach, this vacation home allows children to play and adults to relax.

The cottage is a classic older Lindell Beach holiday home, with a complete renovation. There’s still lots character in the nooks, crannies, and mature private garden… There’s also a new kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher and two full bathrooms!

**There’s room for 4 adults and 4 children**

- (upper) master bedroom (queen) includes an ensuite and cosy private deck

- (upper) bedroom (2 single bunk beds - great for kids)

- (upper) loft (2 day-beds + TV -- low ceiling makes this ok for kids-only)

- (lower) bedroom (queen)

The main floor also features a full bathroom; kitchen; dining room with seating for 8, and open living area with solarium and fireplace.

The cottage’s modern kitchen has a pass-through window to the very private back deck; bar-b-queue with lots of fuel; outdoor fire pit; festive lighting; sticks for the kids to roast marshmallows; and a fully stocked wood-pile!

There’s a lot to do outdoors. You’re a 30 second walk to the lake and private dock with diving board. Away from the water, you can bicycle on the flat streets (4 adult; 1 child included); play tennis at the new court; basketball on the new sport-court; volleyball on the field; explore the privately-owned greenbelt forest; or just stroll to Frost Creek to see seasonal glimpses of spawning salmon, eagles, and other wildlife… and don’t forget to stare at the endless number of stars at night.

The Lakeshore Four Cottage and Lindell Beach are special places that will transport you back to times gone by: a safe neighbourhood where people care about each other, let life slow down, and allow you to focus on the things that matter.

About Gareth Clarke

A family with teenage kids.. Looking for downtime with friends and family.

Gareth Clarke purchased this cottage in 2011

Why Gareth Clarke chose Fraser Valley E

Super close to the lake (1 minute walk) and a much quieter locals-only feel at the beach, docks and rafts.

The cottage has lots of character and the renovations are GREAT!!

Fits 2 families easily; super comfortable and clean; all appliances; and 2 full bathrooms.

What makes this cottage unique

Neighbourhood - it's hard to describe how safe this place feels. It's like a small town from the 1950's. There's only one road into the community. Once you're in, your're in the extended family. Like all small villages - expect some questions and let them know you're guests staying at the cottage. Enjoy.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a wonderful experience! We definitely now consider this location our home away from home. The house was beautiful and very accommodating - paddle boards, life jackets, beach chairs, television and large movie selection, tennis equipment, access to tennis court, walking distance to the lake, flexible check-in and check-out - this place had it all! We spent a lovely few days here, with wonderful nights in the backyard with a mini campfire and s'mores. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit the cultus area. Thank you so much for the hospitality and we look forward to next summer!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing cabin! We went there for New Year celebration;a bit unusual time for lakeside cabin. Of course, it was very cold outside (as you can expect around New Year), but we had wonderful time staying inside. Huge collection of DVDs; very well equipped kitchen for all our needs, cozy fireplace! Our little granddaughter loved the loft - great place to play and watch cartoons. My special thanks to Gareth - very attentive and helpful host, keeping us updated with every little detail - not only about cabin, but weather, what to do, where to go and such. Thank you very much, we had great time!

Owner's Response: Hi Olena, So happy to hear that you had a great time! There's always lots to do around the lake, even when the weather is cold or rainy. I'm glad that you enjoyed the DVD Library - we added a lot of movies this year and have also installed new TV's upstairs. I hope that you and the family can join us again - summer or winter. Cheers, Gareth

An amazing lakeside vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing stay!! The cabin was clean and comfortable with all the Lakeside amenities. We loved our days on the beach and our nights beside the firepit on the back patio! Our young children had a great time as well. Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could have!!

Beautiful Location

  • 5 of 5

We recently enjoyed a 5 night stay at this cottage and it couldnt have been better. A short walk to the water each night to view the incredibly beautiful scenery as well as strolling through the paths in the forest were memmorable moments. The cabin was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We spent alot of our time around the fire table in backyard in spite of the rainy weather. We definately will be returning. Thank you Gareth.

Owner's Response: Thanks Karen! It would be great to have you back... I was just up at the cabin and went on a couple of hiking trails that are great if it's rainy - or you're looking for something more than the 40 second walk to the beach :^). Next time you're up, Chilliwack Lake is a great destination, or have a look at VancouverTrails(dot)com for some ideas (Lindeman Lake is very nice and a little tough going). Cheers, Gareth

Excellent rural getaway, a short hop away from Vancouver.

  • 5 of 5

This property really is a home from home. We were entirely pleased with the quality of the accommodation and its location, mere steps from the water on Cultus Lake and all the waterspouts that offers, as well as being close to the trailheads on Vedder mountain for riding or hiking.

Owner's Response: Thanks Paul, We've worked hard to make it feel like a home away from home. Also, thanks for mentioning the trail heads on Vedder Mountain. Cultus Lake is often associated with just the water slides, Giggle Ridge, and boating... yet there's so much more to explore in the area including great hiking trails locally and around Chilliwack Lake. Cheers, Gareth

Incredible cozy getaway at Cultus Lake

  • 5 of 5

It was an incredible stay at Gareth's cottage at Cultus Lake (south side of the lake is Lindell Beach).

First of all, Gareth's response speed is 100%. Whenever we were in need we could always reach him either right away or he will call back within a very short time. Gareth was also very kind in providing a flexible check in/check out time for us to accommodate our schedule.

The place itself is very cozy and clean, have pretty much anything you need! Wish we had more time to stay to enjoy the bits and pieces. The fireplace and barbecue is absolutely amazing, and the sun room makes a wonderful place for a morning read. Few seconds down the road and you'll find a small piece of heaven by the docks, stunning view and fantastic way to start a day.

We'll definitely stay at Gareth's again when we visit Cultus Lake!
