'Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us! Gig Harbor is the perfect location for a family vacation. We easily visited remote locations on the Olympic Peninsula as well as the mountains, shops, and restaurants in Seattle and Tacoma. The Gig Harbor community itself is welcoming and friendly.

We loved our time in the Pacific Northwest and are grateful for the opportunity to experience your beautiful home. Hope to return next year!'

About Tammy & Mike Zeller

We purchased this property as a get-away when we found out our oldest son and his wife were having a baby (they live in Seattle). We are active and love to hike, walk, and golf. Find this to be a truly relaxing getaway.

Tammy & Mike Zeller purchased this house in 2012

Why Tammy & Mike Zeller chose Puget Sound

We saw this house and instantly fell in love with the cozy feel of the space, as well as the entire village of Gig Harbor.

What makes this house unique

This house is truly unique due to the proximity of the heart of Gig Harbor, as well as the true Pacific Northwest feel of the view of the fir trees from the A-Frame Home. We'd be happy to have you enjoy this home as your own for a week or a month or a season.

This is our second stay in what we now call our "home" in Gig Harbor when visiting our son and his family. We all love this beautiful secluded property close to "everything Gig Harbor"! We will be back.

Wonderful hub for seeing family in the area

  • 5 of 5

Both my parents and extended family members are spread out over the state of Washington. Most vacations I divide my time between my mom's house and my dad's house and never really have time to see other family members. Gig Harbor was the perfect central location to spend a little time with everyone. Close enough to Tacoma for a day trip in to see my Aunt and a fun location for other family members to come and visit me for a change ;)

The house is extremely well kept and on a quiet wooded street. The master bedroom has a wall of windows and it's just wonderful to wake up to that view everyday. It's a little far to walk into town, primarily because it's all uphill on the way back. We had really great meals at The Tides, Susanne's (for baked goods and coffee), and the Devoted Kiss has fantastic breakfasts and lunch. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe next time in the summer so I could spend a bit more time enjoying the waterfront and walking trails.

Kirkland, WA

great property reasonable price

  • 5 of 5

Roomy, good location, pretty natural surroundings, well stocked with everything you could want.

Info on how to control heat, checkout procedures, dos and don'ts clear.

One of their rules that you can't drive your car on the driveway was annoying. But I can see the landlords point of view: deep ditches on each side without any railing--if they didn't have that rule there would clearly be liability issues for them. Just be aware that you carry everything from the car to the house a fair distance. At night you need a flash night. Some of path lights weren't functioning. To be fair not every visitor has 20 boxes to carry in as we did.

All in all a wonderful property and the most affordable property with a lot of space available.

Great stay

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful sight watching the snow fall! Wonderful windows allowed perfect view. The house has such a cozy feel. It is very clean, roomy, beds so comfortable. We didn't mind the walk up the driveway-certainly not a problem (we are senior citizens). So nice to have washer/dryer. Owners easy to work with and hope to return for another visit.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place. The cabin was AWESOME! Located in a beautiful, quiet, well-maintained neighborhood, with everything we needed included. The location was perfect for our vacation. Spent four days playing golf and visiting relatives -- located 30 minutes from three of our favorite NW golf courses. We enjoyed great meals on the harbor which is located just five minutes from the cabin.

We travel to the Seattle area several times a year, and this is definitely our 'go-to' place from now on. Highly recommended.

Gig Harbor Trip (hopefully my retirement location)

  • 5 of 5

I came up here with my oldest son to check out the area for a retirement home. The house was fantastic, very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The property was very close to the actual harbor, the shops and restaurants,

We had a great time and I am definitely going to retire up here. The fact that the house was only 5 minutes or so from the harbor was a big plus. Just a few minutes down the road and we were at the shops restaurants and all the sights.

As I previously stated the house was excellent. Plenty of room great beds and plenty of chairs and couches to relax in when we stayed home. Nice large screen tv which my son really enjoyed. The house is set in the trees with plenty of large windows to look out of.

As it was colder during our stay we took advantage of the heating system in the house which permitted us to switch on heat in whatever part of the house we were without heating up the whole house. The instructions on how to use the heat controls were very visible and easy to use, which made it more enjoyable.

Some previous tenants have mentioned regarding not being able to park in the driveway or outside the garage but the street parking was great and it was not a long walk to the house. At night the whole driveway was lit up with automatic lighting and that made it easy after dark to get to the house.

The house was at the cul de sac end of the street and it was nice and quite with no passing traffic to annoy us.

Each morning it was great to wake up and look out at the majestic fir trees which surrounded the house. As I walked down the driveway to my car I really enjoyed the fresh smell of all of nature around me.

I managed to go to the gym while I was up here and there were about 5 different ones to choose from. I was also very impressed with all the different types of shops here including a Costco and a very nice cinema.

I also found a very nice church of my denomination to go to on Sunday and met plenty of friendly locals there.

I will be bringing my wife and twin sons up to Gig Harbor this summer and I really hope to stay here again.
