Fort Collins House Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Home In Old Town's Best Neighborhood

Located on a quiet residential street with ample parking, this Old Town home is just steps from picturesque Mountain Avenue. Even though it’s an easy stroll to historic Old Town Square or City Park, you might want to catch the restored turn-of-the century trolley at the Mountain Avenue stop close by. Trolley not running that day? – take the two cruiser bikes provided to our guests (locks and helmets included) and spend the day enjoying one of America’s top bike-friendly cities. No need for a car for groceries – it’s an easy walk to the oldest family-owned food market in Fort Collins, featuring many locally produced foods and a farmers’ market every Wednesday during growing season.

This immaculate, upscale two-bedroom home is furnished with the crisp, clean lines of mid-century modern design that perfectly complements the original architectural details of the period. The polished wood floors show off the thoughtfully selected furnishings that combine to transport you to the days of martinis and mohair suits. The entire house is filled with natural light and has an open, airy feel. With wood floors, wool area rug, and plenty of seating, the living room is a comfortable place for conversation or watching a movie. This home is fully furnished; all you need to bring is a tooth brush! The dining area seats up to six and the kitchen is fully equipped for making everything from a cup of coffee to a family dinner. Both bedrooms have wood floors with high quality wool area rugs, queen beds with luxurious linens and cozy comforters, dressers and closets. Ample counter space and storage in the bathroom make things easy with a full house. There is a full tub/shower with glass doors, and soft, thick hand and bath towels. Also included are a washer and dryer, high-speed internet, cable TV with HBO, flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod player/radio, two bikes, backyard patio and gas grill.

About Michael and Leslie

We are professionals who have lived in the Old Town area for nearly 30 years. This is the house where we first met twenty years ago. When it came up for sale, we couldn’t help but acquire part of our own personal history. We live just two blocks away and are always available to give you a local perspective on all the Fort Collins area has to offer. We offer this beautiful mid-century gem as your home away from home during your stay.

Why Michael and Leslie chose Fort Collins

Although we currently live in a restored 100+ year old house, being design professionals, we have always been drawn to the crisp, clean esthetic of mid-century modern design. This home is in pristine condition, close to the best of everything Fort Collins has to offer, and is in the friendliest neighborhood in town - ours! Even if you stay just a few days, you'll know why we chose this area to put down roots.

Outstanding!

  • 5 of 5

Michael and Leslie were great to work with, they accommodated myself and my family needs beyond our expectations. Upon arrival, Michael was there to greet us and already had beer, water, and fresh eggs in the refrigerator. The house was just lovely and comftable in a quiet neighborhood. If I ever visit CO again, there is no doubt that this will be my first choice to stay again.

Adorable bungalow home

  • 5 of 5

We came to Fort Collins for our daughters graduation from CSU. This house was perfect for a family of four. Michael the owner was very accommodating to us. We had a reception Friday night for 12 guests and the house worked nicely. By the way, Hog Wild Barbeque was a great a restuarant to have cater an informal reception.

The house was very clean and incredibly organized. Also, we liked that the house was walking distance to downtown Ft. Collins. Plus, the house also has cruiser bikes with helmets available to use.

Loved the fresh eggs and local beers the owners had waiting for us in the refrigerator. Very thoughtful!

Perfect home in old town

  • 5 of 5

We visited our son and daughter at CSU for a week and had a hard time leaving the comfort of this perfect home. We were greeted by Michael, the owner with keys, fresh eggs and local beer. Our kids walked to and from campus and we would walk, bike or drive into old town. I was able to cook a few dinners and make cookies in their well equipped kitchen. Thank you for the memories!

College Tour

  • 5 of 5

This VRBO rental was amazing. I was in town to visit the College with just my just daughter and with each of having us our own room we had room to spread out. We were so comfortable with the place after talking with Leslie on the phone prior to arriving and Michael meeting us upon arrival with keys in hand and some tips about the house and Fort Collins.

There is nothing you will need for a great stay. I loved the the attention to detail with luxurious towels and new bed sheets. The orderliness of the place was also a treat with a common sense approach to where things should be in the kitchen and around the house. I appreciated the classic decor too, you will not have to endure looking at a fake plants or dusty dried flower arrangements. The house was also surprisingly well heated , though we really did not need it on our stay, but if I did come back in the winter I would not worry about a cold night. The place is close to down town and they provide the use of two bikes that I wish we had enough time to take a spin on.

We will be back and especially so if our daughter decides CSU it the right school of her.

Wonderful home and host, great location, highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

Look no further if you'd like a comfortable and indeed beautiful 2 bedroom place to stay in Fort Collins. This bungalow has an open feeling with plenty of light. The furnishings and decor are in great taste and very functional, and the kitchen has everything you need (Michael even gave us some eggs from his chickens). Two couples stayed (us and our grown daughter with her husband), and there was lots of room for all. Additionally, we had a little post-Christmas gathering for about 11 folks (including the four staying there) and the space was great for that.

Michael, our host, is a great communicator who responds quickly to texts and emails. He was available and very helpful without being intrusive.

In summary, our experience was perfect and we'd stay here again without hesitation. Thanks Michael and Leslie :)

It is HOME

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Michael and Leslie's bungalow was perfect. My husband and I were in Fort Collins to visit family that live nearby and to sight see.

Michael and Leslie greeted us at our arrival with warm smiles and a tour of their home. They were most accommodating and eager to offer information about the home, local recommendations of restaurants and things to do. The home is charming, warm and immaculate. There is plenty of built in storage too. The well arranged kitchen is thoughtfully supplied with all the equipment one might need. There are even yummy

surprises in the refrigerator.

We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and lunches on the backyard patio. We enjoyed the very pleasant neighborhood and being so close to Old Town. And the mountains are not very far away either.

It is truly HOME away from home.

We certainly hope to stay at this great Mid Century Bungalow on all of our visits to Fort Collins.
