Superior quality apartment situated in a prime yet quiet location in the tranquil Rhodian village of Gennadi. This modern and spacious 1 bedroom apartment is furnished throughout to a very high standard in a modern and contemporary style. The apartment boasts balconies at both front and rear, together boasting side-sea views (bedroom) and mountain views enabling the sunlight to be captured throughout the day.
The huge patio doors from the living area lead you onto the larger tiled balcony area, which as well as providing mountain views, overlooks the large swimming pool (provided for the exclusive use of residents of Gennadi Court) and the pool is romantically illuminated every evening with sunken lighting and complemented by the wall mounted lighting positioned behind the shrubbery of the garden.
There is also outside furniture on both of the balconies at which you can sit for relaxing and soaking up the sun as well as dining al fresco.
Around Rhodes Island: Rhodes is a relatively small island, though one of Greece's largest islands and boasts an average of 300 days sunshine a year. Therefore as well as providing the ideal centre for sun-seeking holiday makers, the island also provides a wealth of other activities. Breathtaking scenery, historic sites, bustling nightlife and traditional island life can all be explored and tasted to provide the perfect holiday for even the most eclectic mixture of tastes. Rhodes also boasts some of the cleanest sand and shingle beaches in Western Europe. It is at the axis of many scenic drives to unspoilt golden beaches along the South-East and South-West coastlines and at Prassonisi - the most southerly tip of the island - the calm, clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea meets the swelling surf and breeze of the Aegean Sea resulting in a surfers paradise. There are also many local routes into the beautifully landscaped interior of the island where you can explore a number of remote mountain villages.
Rhodes Town: Rhodes Town divides neatly into 'new' and 'old' quarters. The Old Town is the best preserved medieval fortress town in Europe, with narrow cobbled streets and magnificent historic buildings. Literally, just outside these imposing fortified walls, you can witness the coming and going of boats, from the smallest fishing vessel, through yachts, to the tallest of cruise liners in Mandraki harbour and indeed the bustling cosmopolitan attractions of the New Town do provide a fascinating contrast.
Gennadi: Gennadi village itself provides immediate access to a range of local amenities, including; restaurants / tavernas, bars, a supermarket, a boulangerie, a greengrocers, a pharmacy, an internet café, a motorbike / pushbike hire shop and banking ATM facilities.
Walking along and through the charming narrow alleys and steps of Gennadi may lead you to the two beautiful Byzantine churches of Ioannis Theologos and Anastasia, actually built with the material from the demolished tower of the Knights.
Behind the village, lie the magnificent mountains typical of the inner Rhodian landscape which can be seen from the 9 metre squared balcony of your own stylish holiday apartment.
We had a wonderful time on Rodos, especially we've found a very nice apartment in best condition. We never - and that's the truth, not fishing for compliments - had a better apartment in Greece, related to the price we have paid.
We had wonderful weather all the time except 1 rainy day (yes, ONE!) and we were able to do a lot of sightseeing and even more swimming at the beach. The rodean people told that it was too warm for this time in fall, up to 32 degrees.
We had a wonderfull time in Rhodos! With our car we discoverred long lonely beaches at the east side, and beautifull nature in the middle off the island. And 1 day beautifull Rhodos old city, 1/2 day nice Lindos, 1 day to Chalki by boat, 1 day kitesurf beach and .....more. So we saw a lot. It was really nice coming back every time in your appartment. Every thing was there for our comfort. The swimmingpool was also great. The only thing for complaining was it became too hot at the end haha. But that is not up to you.
We thank you for the perfect stay in your appartment! but you had to know we enjoyed our stay!
Thanks a lot. Maybe till another time.
Greetings Jos and Ellen
My wife and I spent 10 days in this lovely apartment in the village of Gennadi. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and in a good location, with supermarket, bars and restaurants close by (2 minutes walk).
We also made use of the local bakery (loverly bread and pastries) and greengrocers for fresh fruit and veg.
The pool is a decent size and is well maintained. The water was warm enough, even in mid-May, for us to enjoy an afternoon dip.
The people staying in the other apartments (all owners) of Gennadi Court were friendly and helpful and the lady who cleaned the apartment gave us lots of good information.
The sea is a 5-10 minute walk out of the village. The beach is a mixture of grey sand and pebbles, which is the norm on the island, but is clean and was quiet at the time we visited. There are 2 or 3 of Tavernas down by the beach. We used the Seafood Taverna (in front of the Gennadi Beach Apartments) mostly and found the food there to be excellent.
Our favourite village restaurant was Mammas. Again the food was great and the prices very reasonable.
When we took a day trip to Lindos we used the local bus service. Buses run about once a hour to Lindos (once every 2 hours to Rodos town via Lindos). The bus fare to Lindos cost 2.50 euro (per person, one-way). The bus stop is near the apartment, close to the post office and ATM.
We didn't rent a car (many visitors do) but had no trouble getting around. We used a company called A2B Transfers to get us to and from the airport by bus. Pre-booked over the internet it cost £25 per person for a return ticket. The journey takes about 2 hours because all the other passagers are dropped off first.
We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Thanks to Jason for allowing us to use his loverly apartment.
We had a wonderful stay in this appartment!
Genadi is close to but just outside the very touristic beach area, which was ideal for our situation.
The appartment is nicely fournished, everything one needs is available.
The pool is lovely as well.
There are nice restaurants nearby.
The beach is Genadi is not particularly beautiful because of the dark couloured pebbles, but lovely beaches are nearby.

The apartment is part of a small complex with pool and is ideal for two people. It was extremely clean and well equipped. Located in the small village of Gennadi. Close to local shops and plenty of bars and restaurants. The area was not touristy and allowed us to experience the real Greece. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday in a Greek village.
We spent a week at Gennadi A4 and we really enjoyed it. The apartment was equiped with all the utensils you could need and more. It was very clean and spacious. The two balconies were perfect; there was always one in the shade or sun.The swimming pool was excellent, clean and the right temperature, no freezing there.
In a minute walk you can do your shopping in the very well equiped supermarkt, the bakery and a fruit and vegetable shop. The restaurants and bars are a few minutes away by foot. The beach is about a ten minutes walk.
The only negative remark we have is not about the apartment but the very loud noise on the street we had a few nights. Cars, with very high speed, braking and slipping and shouting of people.
Overall we highly recommend this apartment for everyone who doesn't want to go to the tourist concrete bunkers but who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a greek atmosphere.

The apartment is situated on the tranquil South-East coast of Rhodes, approximately a 50-minute drive from Rhodes Airport. Situated within the small traditional picture book Greek village of Gennadi with endless beaches to both the North and South. Crystal clear waters in a wonderful local climate and magical unspoilt region. It is only a short 15-minute drive away from the ancient village of Lindos with its maze of narrow cobbled streets filled with white chocolate box houses and hill-top acropolis. It is also at the axis of many local routes into the beautifully landscaped interior of the island where you can explore a number of remote mountain villages. The medieval city of Rhodes - one of UNESCO’s 890 Global World Heritage Site’s - should also be a ‘must see’ on your trip to this beautiful island, from where you can also take a day-trip by boat to either the nearby Greek island of Symi or Marmaris in nearby Turkey. It is easy to get around the whole island from here as Gennadi is served by an excellent and reliable air-conditioned bus route.
