You’ll pinch yourself when you arrive to find that you are square in the middle of paradise.

Our home is a beautifully decorated, well maintained 3 bedroom, 2 bath single family residence. It is tastefully furnished and provides all of the comforts of home. It is Smoke And Pet-free and is truly a home away from home.

You will find a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with a gas cook top and dual gas ovens with the convection option. There is a huge island with a second prep sink all with granite counter tops. The kitchen is equipped with a trash compactor and all small appliances necessary to run an efficient home. All dishes, cookware and utensils are provided and will be found in ample supply. The dining room seats 6-8 easily and provides a wonderful spot for enjoying a delicious meal or playing a game of cards with friends.

The living room is warm and welcoming with comfortable furnishings, a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. The 3 bedrooms are spacious, 2 with king size beds and TV's and the 3rd with a queen size bed. All beds are very comfortable and all linens are provided. Both bathrooms have been completely renovated within the last 2 years and are immaculately maintained. One bath is fully handicap accessible. All bath linens are provided.

Off street parking is provided in an attached 2 car garage.

The true amazement of this home happens when you open the doors to the outside and are hit with the park-like panorama that is the backyard. It is truly as if you are viewing a city park with a variety of shade producing trees, beautiful green grass, fragrant roses (in season,) fruit bearing trees, areas of native planting and a variety of gathering locations/patios throughout.

The centerpiece of all of this beauty is a large salt-water Pebbletec pool and spa with fountains spilling into the pool adding to the sense of peace provided by the running water.

Outdoor dining is a must to fully enjoy the setting; whether a breakfast cup of coffee and muffin or a full dinner prepared on the home's BBQ. The meal music and entertainment is provided by the soundtrack of the birds reveling in this beauty.

The view of the snow covered Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountain ranges in the winter or an evening sunset is breathtaking and it is all yours in this totally private setting. The property is fully maintained and manicured weekly.

All of this beauty and serenity is within a short walk of El Paseo (considered the Rodeo Drive of the desert) and it’s wonderful shops and restaurants and galleries. Within a mile radius of this home you can walk to a variety of shops, restaurants, markets, churches, galleries, golf, tennis, and the Living Desert. The College of the Desert, theaters, casinos, hiking trails, the Indian Canyons, and other local attractions are only a short jaunt away. You can drive to the mountains of Idyllwild in 45 minutes or be at the beach in an hour and a half.

We love everything about Palm Desert...the weather, the people, and the close proximity to everything we value. This property is a jewel. It is a peaceful retreat from the frantic pace of society. We saw that when we purchased it; but as we have worked the property and remodeled the home and yard we have realized that it is to be shared to realize it's true benefit.

What makes this house unique

It can be said over and over that this is a special place but until you experience it you will not fully comprehend this fact. It is close to everything that people seek out when they journey to Palm Desert...yet it feels totally separate from the hustle and bustle when you are here.

The property itself transports you to a different place...one of rest and relaxation. Walking through the park like yard, listening to the fountains bubble, the birds singing or watching the hummingbirds play in their territorial manner is just flat-out joy producing.

It has been said over and over that it is in close proximity to everything that is Palm Desert. Whether you want to shop, eat, exercise, or play, it is all close by. If you want to tramp through the COD street faire...it’s close by. You could literally park your car and walk to almost everything the valley has to offer.

An exceptional home!

My husband and I have stayed in this lovely home for the past 3 years from January 1 to the 31st of March each year. We are snowbirds from Canada and the poor exchange rate for our dollar is the only reason we cannot come back for 2017. We will be very sad when January arrives next year!

The home is not a typical “rental” property; this is Ron and Bev’s home and you can tell by the furnishings and the yard that they really care about this house. The yard is a thing of beauty when the rose bushes all burst into flower and the air is perfumed with their scent, and before the roses come out, the lemon, grapefruit and orange trees flower and you can smell them while you are swimming in the pool. You can go for a walk in the yard and try to spot the hummingbird nests (we have watched several pairs of babies go from egg to their first time at the feeder). There are lots of birds coming to the fountain to bathe and drink. You can walk out and pick fresh grapefruit, oranges, lemons and key limes or relax by the pool and hot tub in a very private setting.

The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is soft and plentiful. There is a walk in shower in the master bathroom. There really is nothing you could think of that you can’t find in this home. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil, bowl, bakeware, etc. that you could ever want. If you are not a person who likes to cook, you can easily walk to El Paseo to all of the great restaurants – we love Pierro’s Pizza.

There are lots of books to read, puzzles to complete, televisions in all but one bedroom so there is never a lack of something to do.

Ron and Bev are just a phone call away and have always responded to any concerns immediately. I think the fact that we have rented this home for 3 years says it all.

Ladies Get-Away

Our girl-group has been lucky enough to stay in this beautiful home for many years and it is truly the highlight of our year, above any other get-aways. The owner's description and photos don't do it justice. The home is so comfortable and welcoming, it's feels like home. The bedrooms are cozy and spacious with lovely quality bedding. The gourmet kitchen is open and a cook's dream with all the items one could every want to prepare any meal, and at the same time, everyone can gather around or pitch in. The open living room is comfortable and designed with friends and family in mind to gather, talk, and relax at the end of a hard day by the pool and spa. The highlight of the home has to be the backyard!!! We spend our entire week outdoors as much as possible, just enjoying the birds, the sounds and views from the patio. One can walk throughout the backyard and travel through varied garden settings from desert scenes to rose gardens, witness a roadrunner hopping about, or bunnies scamping around. Even though El Paseo with all its designer boutiques and shops are right around the corner within walking distance, we never wanted to leave the yard. If you are fortunate enough to stay in Ron and Bev's beautiful home, you will be like us, already anticipating next years stay.

We are within walking distance of El Paseo which is considered the Rodeo Drive of the desert. All levels of shopping are close at hand including the COD Swap Meet, Palm Springs Street Fair, and the Cabazon Outlets.

The Palm Springs Indian Canyons and the Airial Tramway provide wonderful hiking opportunities within a few short miles. Taking the tramway transports you into the pines and fresh cool mountain air for an entirely different experience.
