The property is 3/4 of an acre with a main house and two cottages. It has 300 coffee plants, two large mango trees and papaya plants also.
You can help yourself to fruit when in season.Very secluded and green, just the way you would think of old Hawaii.
We are just ten minutes to the night life of Kona, an easy drive, but a culture away.
This was a very comfortable little cottage. We entered and found the place very clean and inviting. It contained everything we needed as we ate a lot of meals there. It was a great base from which to explore the island (and we did, putting on almost 1300 miles). It's very close to the airport, costco, walmart, beaches, restarants etc. Most of it within 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. There were nice little spots to go for walks and see a varity of flora and fauna as well as pigs, turkeys, pheasants and chickens. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and any issue we had was dealt with promptly (not that we had many). This was our third time using vrbo and this space did not disappoint. We would return without hesitation and will recommend it to our friends. We were never disturbed by traffic or the neighbours (other than a few roosters). It's in a great location so the temperature was always very moderate. Mahalo Nathan & Karli! looking forward to our next visit. Cheers
