“The waves of the sea, help me get back to me”
From the moment you open the doors to this condo the beach will call to you. Step inside, take your shoes off and enjoy this oceanside cottage retreat. Grab a super-plush blanket and melt into any one of five recliners in the living room (four are even electric). Open the blinds along with the gigantic sliding glass doors and let the ocean revive your soul. In the mornings step out on the balcony with a coffee, sit and take in the pelicans as they fly overhead all the while hearing the waves crashing in the background. In the evenings be sure to enjoy the spectacular sunsets either in the second bedroom or on the deck of the building and don’t forget your camera. At bedtime, the mattresses will envelope you, provide plenty of rest and allow you to do it all over again the next day.
Though the beach inclination is to spend every moment soaking in the sun and the sea outside, being indoors will be even more relaxing in the comfortable and quaint coastal design this condo offers highlighting picturesque beach views brought indoors from a wall of sliding glass doors on the main floor, a wall of windows in the master, and even a wall of sliding glass doors in the second bedroom with breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Decorated with an oceanside cottage retreat this unit is known for it's comfortable furnishings and beds (we've even had guests call to ask the brand of the mattress so they could go home and buy the same one). The extras like 3 HDTVs (a TV in every room), a Wii system in the second bedroom, and high speed private wifi provide plenty of entertainment indoors when the sun slumbers from it's long day of work at the beach.
You really won’t want to leave, but we promise to always be here, sitting sea-side, awaiting your return.
WHY CRESCENT SANDPIPER COMPLEX IS UNBEATABLE:
LESS THAN A MINUTE FROM UNIT TO BEACH:
We are one of only two complexes on this beach that are RIGHT ON THE BEACH-- just seven steps off the pool deck at the center of our complex to sand.
We built before restrictions forced everyone else to build behind the sand dunes. Thus all other complexes besides our sister property have long stretches of dunes and hard wooden boardwalks over those dunes—our “boardwalk” is made of sand.
We're less than 60 seconds from your door to beach, making your trek with beach gear an easy and fast one!
Being steps from the beach also means we have the best views on the beach!
Our unbeatable proximity to sand and water, combined with the fact that our complex is shaped like a U so that nobody blocks anyone else’s view, means our views are unrivaled by other complexes!
Don’t be fooled by some people’s claims to “beachfront” or to have a great “ocean view”— our view is not a corner of the room—or hanging over a balcony to get a glimpse of water— every unit in the Sandpiper has panoramic views of the beach!
In addition bringing the sounds of the sea indoors is as easy as opening your windows or doors to hear the waves roll outside.
LESS CROWDS AT OUR COMPLEX:
Unlike some complexes that have hundreds of units- this complex has only 51 units, with about half of those units available to rent and the other half being people's private vacation homes that often sit vacant. As such, you won't see hundreds of guests from this complex taking up the beach space by the condo or crowding the pool and courts.
We also don't rent to groups of young adults (guests under 25 years of age), thus we often have a more quiet feel than other complexes.
Lastly, more often than not our rentals are by the week or month, we are not like a hotel that has a new group coming to party each night.
LESS CROWDS AT OUR BEACH:
Combined with the fact above that our complex is small with less guests using the beach, our beach often stays slow even in busy times (if you want to feel like you own the beach, ask me when the best time to come is) for a couple of other reasons….
Crescent Beach is not a commercial type of beach like St. Augustine beach we only have a couple of restaurants on the north end of the beach a mile away from us, thus we don’t get crowds coming to eat and then walk on our beach, likewise we do not have stores on our small stretch of beach—though there are plenty of stores just a couple miles north of us.
Additionally, we have no hotels on Crescent Beach— so we don’t get nightly guest crowds and partiers coming to our beach.
Lastly, to the north of our complex is a private vacation home (often sitting vacant), to the south of us is our sister complex similar in size to us, thus we aren’t surrounded by complexes with hundreds of guests that fan out onto our side of the beach.
Even in our high season our guests comment at how slow and peaceful everything is here.
POOL AREA: We are one of the only complexes on Crescent Beach that has our pool just steps from the sand! Why is this a big deal? When you lay out on our loungers at the pool deck, you feel like you’re out at the beach— the waves are rolling just over your shoulders, the pelicans are soaring overhead and you can fall asleep to the ocean’s melody. At other complexes you are surrounded by buildings and guests— here you’re surrounded by palm trees and ocean views. No need to get sandy on the beach, be a sun worshiper from the comfort of the pool deck but still feel like you’re out at the beach! In addition, a separate kiddie pool with one shallow depth makes for a great place for the little ones to swim without having to dive in after a child that goes too deep.
AMENITIES: Enjoy a game of tennis on our private tennis courts enclosed by thick lush foliage. Shoot some hoops at the basketball court. Enjoy grilling dinner on our electric grills located on the upper deck with ocean views on one side and Intracoastal waterway views on the other (grills, loungers, tables, umbrellas, and chairs are provided). Don’t miss a chance to take in the fiery colors over the Intracoastal as the sun sinks into the water at sunset, then look over your shoulder to simultaneously watch the beach turn to a palette of pastel pinks and blues— there is no better seat on all of Crescent Beach to enjoy the sunset than on the upper deck of the Coquina with panoramic water views on each side of you!
ABOUT CRESCENT BEACH AND SURROUNDING AREA:
This condo is nestled on one of the best kept secrets in the world-- Crescent Beach found on Anastasia Island, located just 15-20 minutes from the quaint historic city of St. Augustine. Crescent Beach has been named one of the most “scenic and unspoiled beaches in Florida.” With soft white sand to play in, shells of all sizes that come in from the waves to find, and a shallow flat coastline to play in the waves, whether you build castles, beach comb, or play in the waves— the beach will keep you busy for hours.
If you decide to leave the beach you can do so to discover over 500 restaurants, more per capita of residents than anywhere else on the east coast, you literally could not try all of St. Augustine’s restaurants in a year’s time, but we welcome you to try. Whether you come to enjoy one of the many golf courses nearby (including TPC Sawgrass), want to try your hand at fishing on piers, from the beach, or from a boat, have an interest in the area’s many museums or love the historic area’s architecture and brick pedestrian-only streets, or prefer the shopping and foodie scene, St. Augustine is a gem that more than one guest has asked us not to share with anyone else!
If you don’t want to venture to the downtown area, the island we are situated on (Anastasia Island, which is considered part of St. Augustine proper), has enough restaurants, grocery stores, surf shops, and activities (such as Marineland where you can swim with dolphins, the Alligator Zoo where you can zip line over alligator enclosures, the famous St. Augustine lighthouse, or a multitude of recreational activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, boating, etc.) to keep you busy. However, we find, more often than not, it is the lonely beckon call of the beach out your door that has you rebooking. Described by the locals as “the way old Florida used to be,” Crescent Beach still remains slow, quiet, and peaceful like Florida beaches once were. With soft white sand to dig your feet in, shells scattered along the water’s edge to find, sea grass waving in the ocean breeze, turtles lazily digging in the dunes, pelicans surfing the skies, and dolphins playing along the shoreline’s waves, it is this quintessential beach life that fills our souls with longing and brings us back time and time again!
In terms of specific activities (other than everything the beach in your backyard provides), there is something for every single age and interest within 5-25 minutes away from the condo including:
HISTORY: Tons of history and spectacular architecture! We are just 15-20 minutes away from the oldest city in the nation where you will find museums, replicas of old St. Augustine where people are dressed in character and give you a guide through American history, or closer to home you can visit Fort Matanzas by boat just 5 minutes from the condo and hear the old cannons go off.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: There are recreational ac

About Marisa Dye
My name is Marisa and I am a boutique-type manager that specializes in managing only high end units near St. Augustine. While I’m different from working with an owner (this is what I do for a living so I am fast to answer emails, always available by phone/text, and treat this as a business) I am a lot like an owner as well, in that my roots at Crescent Beach run deep. Crescent Beach was my grandmother’s beach. Her father drove the local school bus in nearby Palatka and each summer they took the bus to the beach, drove onto the sand and spent their vacation camping. My grandmother grew up and moved out west but couldn’t quite get the sand out from between her toes. Every summer she and her husband would pack their five kids (including my mother) into a station wagon and drive 2300 miles back to Crescent Beach. I didn’t drive cross-country or camp in a school bus, but when I was a teenager my parents purchased a unit on Crescent Beach and I grew to love this beach as my grandmother had! Some family traditions should never die, so I now vacation right here on Crescent Beach with my kids, who have also come to love this still uncrowded beach my grandmother played on 75 years ago. Because I was the “Guest” before the “Manager,” I have a unique approach in the way I work with guests This haven from the world is not only in my blood, but also in my heart, so I love introducing others to Ponce de Leon’s magical city of St. Augustine or inviting them to sink their feet into the sugary sands of Crescent Beach and build unforgettable memories that don’t wash away with the incoming tide. For me this is as much a passion as a business! My love of helping others is evident in over 100 renter reviews that name me personally. I take pride in being a positive part of each guest’s vacation experience. Renting with me means you won’t mess with people from big companies who have never set foot in the complex or unit. It means if there are problems, I provide 24 ho
Why Marisa Dye chose Crescent Beach
Crescent Beach on Anastasia Island is like a secret we hesitate to share, and yet can't keep to ourselves. The beaches are not very busy, and can sometimes even be vacant (where else does that happen?)! The locals still describe that as the way “old Florida used to be” with uncrowded beaches. Its surrounded by entertainment and adventure and over 365 restaurants, and yet we are always content just breathing in all our condo and the ocean out the door has to offer! If you want crowds-- go to Daytona or St. Augustine beach, if you want quiet pristine beaches come here!
What makes this Condo unique
One of my "most comfortable units" as stated by guests: 4 electric recliners in living room on one of the most comfortable sofas you will ever sit on! Guests call and ask the brand of mattress because it was the best night of sleep they've ever had.

Super clean and amazing views. Marisa is a pleasure to work with.
Condo was super clean. For folks that have challenges with stairs the condo is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator (only a slight inconvenience when bringing up luggage) the condo is also two floors with bedrooms upstairs. I may have missed that when I was reading through, but again not really a problem for us. View is amazing from the porch the pool area is beautiful. Beach is lovely to walk on and the sunsets from the front deck are beautiful. Plenty to do within a 15-20 minute drive. If the pool was heated would have been perfect!
We enjoyed our stay, and love St Augustine.
A few requests 2 more beach chairs, to make 4. Place sleeps at least 4
Washer dryer A necessity when vacationing for a week.
Otherwise place was great, and enjoyed the great views from every room. Listening to the ocean made it perfect.
Condo was very nice with amazing views of th ocean. Couldn’t have asked for a better week!
Very nice stay
The condo was as described. Well kept, clean and comfortable.
Nice beds too (very important). It is right on the beach and pool.
We had a very nice weekend.
I guess the only thing I would change is take the carpet out from the bedrooms!
Enjoyed the trip and can't wait until next year
The condo was very updated and relaxing but I didn't give consideration to the 2nd story bedrooms with a newborn baby requiring up/down stairs in the middle of the night. Been visiting Crescent Beach for 10 years now and still love the ambiance as if it was my first time there. Would love to come back to this location next year but will request a bottom 1-story unit.
just what we needed!
This was our fourth trip in a row to St. Augustine and out second time staying on Cresent Beach.
Perfect location, great beach, and an updated condo!
The condo was very clean, well kept, updated, and had everything we needed for our stay.
We did have one problem. The A/C wasn't working properly. But, that had nothing to do with the owner, or the management company. It was 100% the air conditioning maintenance companies fault. A few days prior to us arriving, the owner had a completely new unit installed. It was wired incorrectly, and would never shut off even though the thermostat said it was off. So it ran for several days straight until it was a solid block of ice.
The reason I bring all this up is to mention how Marisa went out of her way and even bought us a nice dinner to fix the issue. It took Us, Her, and the owner to jump down the A/C companies back and get them to stay until the problem was fixed. That was a long story and i won't get into it. The good news is, there was plenty of beach to enjoy while it was warmer than desired inside. All in all, it wasn't a big deal to us, especially when we saw how hard everyone was trying to get the problem fixed for us. These things happen.
Thank you again, we will be back!
