Excellent location, cozy, inviting, super clean and lots of extras that made my stay easy. Thanks so much!!! 😊
Easy, comfortable stay very close to UM in a very nice apartment and neighborhood
Very close to UM and then downtown Ann Arbor. Very convenient next to main thoroughfare in a very nice residential neighborhood. Beautiful property with many trees next to Nichols arboretum and sharing the neighborhood with a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Easy in and out of the apartment. The thoughtfulness of the owner is evident throughout the apartment with personal notes to guide you and a lightly stocked kitchen and bathroom. Very neat and clean functional layout with a very cool decorations throughout. I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Joe for taking the time to review. It is always very satisfying to read people’s reviews and they have enjoyed themselves. Goal achieved. Hope to run a guest house in my retirement
Just right to visit my daughter
Staying here was just great! It was very close to my daughter’s dorm. During warm weather I could walk! I got in very late at night and arrived to a bottle of wine. I woke the next morning and there was a loaf of bread for toast and coffee. These extra touches were so helpful! Also, even though the laundry room was not technically a part of the VRBO, Amanda allowed me to do my daughter’s laundry as well. For a mom who lives far away, this was so nice. The place was very clean and roomy and the owners had clearly thought of absolutely everything that might make your stay comfortable! I am excited to have a found a perfect place to stay when I visit! I will definitely be back. Thank you so much!!
Would give more than 5 stars if we could
We were able to very comfortably enjoy a few days away in Ann Arbor with our dog in this awesome lower level apartment. Amanda is incredible, she let us know about local places to walk to and was most accommodating. She even had some birthday treats and a bottle of wine waiting! The apartment is so clean, roomy, comfy, and offers anything you need. In a beautiful area and we enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood so much along with all the birds right outside the patio doors. Definitely will be back and hopefully soon!
Thank you for your lovely review.
I want to thank you for leaving the place spotless, gathering the sheets and towels for me, and cleaning the kitchenette . If I had not seen you I would not be sure if someone stayed.
It would be lovely if you visited again.
A great Ann Arbor experience
This property is in the perfect location for an Ann Arbor visit. It is close to everything, yet in a quiet part of town. The host is exceptional, has everything you need and some great unexpected touches to make your visit special. I found the bed in the large bedroom to be very comfortable and I slept well. A colleague of mine stayed on the twin bed in the living area and said it was comfortable as well.
Lovely Arbor Hills neighborhood close to Nichols Arboretum. Twenty minutes walk to University Campus, restaurants, coffee shops, theaters, banks and post office. Bus stop in front of house directly to medical
center. We love to get coffee from Mighty Good Coffee (0.6mile) and then lunch at Zingerman's deli (Kerrytown 1.9 mile). At the weekends we cycle to Ypsilanti (8 miles B2B trail) or go kayaking from either Gallop park or Argo Canoe Livery (2.5 miles). Fans can easily get to the Big House (1.7 miles).
