Located on the second floor of Grizzly Lodge in the Lodges at Canmore, with mountain views and overlooking the heated outdoor swimming pool from across the driveway. This warm and cozy condo will suit all your needs from couples who want to enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle, to families who wish to spend time together and enjoy the majestic Rocky Mountains.
This condo is equipped with all of the things you need to prepare your meals, whether it be a BarBQ that interests you, or throwing a casserole in the oven. There are many great restaurants in Canmore, or just a 15 minute drive to Banff if you are more into getting away from cooking your own meals. The outdoor hot tub dedicated to this building is located on the same floor, so just throw on one of the robes that are provided and just head on down the hall. There is also a change room and sitting area near the entrance to the hot tub area.
Downtown Canmore is within 15 minutes walking distance or a few minutes drive, where you can stroll through town and browse the shops, enjoy a nice meal, or spoil yourself with a day at the spa. If you are looking to be active during your stay, you can enjoy one of 6 nearby golf courses, or during ski season check out one of 4 ski resorts in the surrounding areas. There are hiking trails and bike trails, and even a nearby park to take the little ones. There is a Park Pass that is usually available for your use in the condo, just ensure that it is returned to its place of origin, otherwise you will be charged a replacement fee.
Calendar is updated as bookings are secured with payment. If you wish to book, you can use the 'Book It' icon and pay with credit card via VRBO, and your booking will be confirmed and blocked off on the calendar. A booking confirmation will be sent by email with all pertinent information regarding your stay.
Damage Deposit of $250.00 will be automatically reimbursed 7 days after check out, once no damage to the unit has been reported.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled, you will be given a full refund, less credit card admin fees.
We live in Edmonton, Ab. and like to visit Canmore during the winter for the awesome skiing in the area. We have 2 children who are 4 and 6 years old, who also like to hit the slopes. We love to spend Easter and Thanksgiving in the area, as it is such a quaint place to be during holidays. My husband loves to take in the golfing in the area during the summer months

We have been coming to the Lodges at Canmore for several years as guests, and love how it is conveniently located just on the edge of town, yet it is close to all of the amenities. The wide scope of activities to do in the area keeps us busy while we are there, yet it is so relaxing and a quiet place to visit. The picture was taken from Silver Tip Golf Resort during the Spring
Our overall experience was awesome! There was only one night that the noise ordinance didn't seem to apply. Big group of people out laughing and talking around 2am. Thank you for the great accommodations!
The condo is very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and pool hot tub etc very good. Close to down town Canmore and a good home base to see several national parks, day trips to Jasper & Calvary. The park pass provided by owner does save you $$$$$$. 👍𣐠Had a Awesome time .
The Lodges at Canmore provide an excellent place to stay during your trip to Banff and the surrounding area. The unit was extremely well-stocked and convenient to near-by restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay there again if I'm fortunate enough to again visit Alberta...
Canmore was a great location to stay and explore Banff. It wasn't as crowded or expensive as Banff village. The unit we stayed in was easy to find with adequate parking. It was utilitarian in set up. No extra homey decor or furnishings. It was not well supplied with kitchen towels, soap or cookware. It didn't have a convenient laundry center and the laundry soap was hiding in a bathroom cabinet, also lacking in toilet paper.
The bedrooms were comfy and the beds were good. It was adequate for our needs.
We spent 3 nights at this condo with another couple. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would possibly want in a kitchen! The location was a stones throw from Cornerstone Theatre where we attended a wedding. The condo, though a little dated, was spotless and well appointed. The owners have taken good care of it. Although we found the lighting in the condo a bit disappointing we felt we received good value for the price and our purposes. Lynell responded quickly to all our requests for information and check-in was a breeze. I'd recommend this condo for a family.
We loved this property. The view from our deck was exactly as pictured. The owner was very welcoming. It was very well equipped We saw deer & eagles each day from our deck. We would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations in that area. Very nice property

Quiet time / noise bylaw is from 11:00pm to 8:00am. There is a minimum $250.00 non compliance fine for any noise violations resulting in a security visit which automatically be withheld from your damage deposit. Bylaw signs are posted in the elevators.
