I’ve lived in (and loved) Portland for 22 years. My children and I love exploring greater Portland and especially our own front yard: the creativity and vibrance of Alberta Street – the restaurants and food trucks, museums and shops that our neighborhood has to offer. Of course, we love sharing Alberta Streets with other families, too. And, we hope, with you!
Bella purchased this Townhome in 2007
Why Bella chose Concordia
Northeast Portland and, specifically, the Alberta Arts District offers the best of the The City of Roses: so many incredible eateries (restaurants, food trucks, street carts, cafés, breweries, and more!), shops, museums and other creative outlets, just minutes from our front door.
What makes this Townhome unique
This is one of the very few large permitted homes actually in Portland – and one of the largest in the Alberta Arts District. It’s about more than our number of bedrooms, though: The Gingko GuestHouse is a newer building in a lovely residential neighborhood. And it has everything you need. Over the years, we’ve learned from our guests and gone beyond the basics (fast WiFi, satellite TV, etc.) to slowly add all the bells and whistles – everything from hip furnishings and two washers/dryers, right down to complimentary toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen. Last year we updated the home. This year we will be enriching the decor more and more over time.

Great house for families
We were in Portland for a family wedding and the Ginko Guest house met and exceed all of our expectations. Bella was a joy to work with and was able
To give us an early check in so my daughter and her husband could drop their bags early and go exploring. I would definitely stay here again!
Clean. Comfortable. Great location.
Clean. Comfortable. Great location
Lovely place and great neighborhood
We stayed at this property for 5 nights with the kids. The place is nice and clean and the neighborhood is really nice and close to everything. There are a few food places within walking distance (we really liked the Lebanese place). The location was great, we had a car and were able to go to Washington park and many other attractions with no hassle.
Very detail oriented with notes and set-up inside of house. Owner thought of every possible detail to make our stay more comfortable. It was a warm stay in Portland during our visit which made it a bit difficult without any cooling system for the smaller bedroom. Otherwise thanks for having coffee available and all the amenities!
We had a great stay in mid June lovely weather, rode our bikes around neighborhood, enjoyed Mt Tabor park, walking to grab coffee and eating a great dinner, sweet area. The house was just perfect, great colors and use of space, very comfy beds, French press for coffee, wifi, sunny back yard and quiet street. We hopped on the bus to go downtown, ran every 15 mins...so easy. We would stay here again!
My husband and daughter stayed here for a recent sports competition in Portland. My hubby can be a tough customer...but he loved this place and we will most certainly book it again for the competition next year. A real find! I had several email "chats" with the owner as I am not familiar with Portland. She could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. Unit was clean, comfortable and quiet. See ay' next year!!!
