Good sized house with fantastic views.
The owner makes things very simple and everything went according to plan.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.
House has a huge dock, plenty of space inside, and nearby anything you'd need. Would definitely recommend it to a friend. The owner was on top of things in answering questions and providing proper instructions for entry, cleaning, etc. I would definitely go back there.
The screened porch is delightful. It is directly on the lake shore with two ceiling fans that kept a constant breeze going. We spent most of our time there.
The home is well equipped with all the comforts of home. Very clean and bright.
The pool table is an excellent addition.
The owner was very easy to work with and even set out two of her own life vests for our granddaughter to use.
The fishing from the docks was fruitful and enjoyed by all.
There was not a covered section of the dock as depicted in the site pictures.
There were no negatives involved in our stay.
I stayed with a Girl Scout Troop of 7th graders the first week of June. We were planning a trip to the National White Water Center and decided to book a lake house and make it a 3 day trip. The home was perfect! Right on the lake with a large dock for jumping. The girls went right into the water and me and the other chaperone were able to relax in chairs and watch them swim. There were plenty of towels and hot water for showering. The kitchen is large with plenty of counter space for the girls to cook and prepare their bagged lunches. The location was very convenient to the White Water Center and to a a super Walmart grocery. Sonya was very easy to coordinate with. I highly recommend this house!
All was as we expected. Thankful for the pool table since it rained the whole time we were there. We did run out of hot water the first night. I had at the thought that if more conservative shower heads were installed, the water would last longer. After that we were just careful to use delay start on the dishwasher and space out showers.
I recently rented this property to attend my niece's wedding which was held at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. I mostly chose the property for the convenience of the location since it was only a couple of miles from the wedding venue. I also liked that it was located on a lake and looked to be spacious and roomy for my extended family. We were very pleased with our stay. The owner was prompt and efficient with all correspondence related to our stay, access was simple and the property was exactly as described. It was roomy, clean, had a wonderful open floor plan and the screened in front porch was an added bonus. Although advertised as only 3 bedrooms, there is a 4th bedroom with a futon. The home was not fancy or upscale but located in a nice neighborhood, house was tidy and completely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property.
