This super cute beach house has been completely renovated! Everything is brand new including all appliances and cabinets in kitchen, hardwood flooring, all new furniture, paint, and more!! You won't find a better deal one block away from the beach! There is a large, nice screened-in porch with a wet bar and also covered parking. The remodel of the kitchen is beautiful! There are two separate living areas - both with flat screen TVs and DVD Players and ample seating. The large master bedroom now has its own private bath with stand-up, tiled shower. The other bathroom in the main hallway also has all new tile! There is a new washer / dryer in the large laundry room and a very nice outdoor beach shower. This house also features wireless internet and a gas grill. Bed Sizes: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Singles, and 1 Queen Sofabed in the front living room. Linens and towels are not provided. Please plan to either bring or rent your own. This house will also consider pets with a $200 fee per pet.

Short walk to the beach and had a fenced in yard for our small dog. The house, however, was a disappointment. It had a plumbing issue related to lacking a vent to allow air into the lines. This meant multiple flushes to get anything down the master bath toilet. The floors weren't actually hardwood as the sales pictures suggested but laminate that was duck-taped at each doorway.
Basic amenities were missing that we had to buy: dish towels, bath soap, toilet paper, silverware. It did have new appliances which we enjoyed using.
Overall, it wouldn't take much to make to fix this place up and make it more inviting.
The location of this house was perfect for our family. We have two children under the age of 3 and it was an easy walk to the beach. We also have a dog and the fenced in yard was nice to have. My only complaints are that it was not very clean upon arrival and some of the electrical outlets were sticking out from the wall, which is very dangerous. I had to sweep the floors because there was sand and dog hair everywhere. My children were covered in dirt and hair after 5 minutes of playing. Also the broom that was on the property was broken and did not sweep very well. The bad electrical outlet was in the twin bedroom where our children slept and my husband had to secure it because one of the beds rested against it making it a fire hazard. The place is older and a little awkward which I don't mind. It really was the cleanliness and electrical outlets that concerned me.
The external appearance of this home does not give justice to the gem within. The interior is spotless and even gives off a scent of new construction in the master bedroom - yummy. The flexibility of how one can block off rooms for various activities was just wonderful for us; I worked for a few hours each day at a very convenient desk in one of the dens, my husband could watch tv in the other den or make us lunch in the beautiful kitchen, and my daughter could nap without being disturbed by the tv or phone. The dogs loved their space outside and we all enjoyed the proximity to the beach.
Very nice house near the beach. Nicely updated interior with plenty of space for the family. We really enjoyed staying in this house and would do so again.
This is the 6th house in this neighborhood that we have rented in the last 8-9 years and it was by far the nicest. It had the king size bed we needed, the sitting porch, covered parking, W/D, great shower, and great kitchen. The best part was--NO STEPS! The fact that it was newly remodeled was a big plus. We loved everything about it and will, hopefully, rent it again someday.
We enjoyed the spacious house as opposed to a hotel suite. It was a short hop to the beach and a 12 minute trip into Charleston. We did the Middleton Plantation, USS Yorktown and the destroyer and sub. We really enjoyed the CS Hunley submatine tour. Revisited Fort Sumter and still enjoyed it. We recommend the Okra Grill and the S and S Cafeteria as great places to experience good food reasonably. We walked and bought at the Market downtown. We couldnt go home without a backet.
