Perfect Marathon Rental Property!

We just got back from our stay and can't say enough about the property and management team. The house is conveniently located to the grocery store (a must for our family stay with all of the little ones) as well as all of the fantastic activities on Marathon and the surrounding islands. We loved having a beautiful beach so close (a rarity in the Keys) and the convenience of the golf carts to get down there. The pool has fantastic landscaping that let everyone stay in the shade if they needed a break from the sun. We brought the boat and had no problems getting through the channel. The house had so many activities included (beach, pool, carts, cornhole, pool table, tiki bar, etc.) that we were able to thoroughly enjoy ourselves even though the weather wasn't ideal for the boat. We will definitely be coming back to stay in the future.

Great Summer Getaway

A great time June 25-July 2.

Three families (6 adults and 6 children) had a great time. Guy was very responsive to questions (text and phone) and was there in a jiff when we accidentally locked ourselves out. The house is great - plenty of room and all the electronics were easy to use.

We made full use of the kayaks, golf carts, volleyball court and pool. Plenty to see and do nearby with Sombrero Beach, the water and the pool - and groceries/supplies nearby!

We will definitely consider returning to this fabulous location next summer!

A few minor suggestions - mosquito control system for the Tiki hut - it's a great place to hang at night - and the mosquitoes have no problem hanging there as well. Oil/replace the sliding glass doors - they're a little tough to open/close - and smaller children (10-13) get frustrated with the opening and closing.

All-in-all, a great time. I highly recommend for multiple families or one large family.

Absolutely fantastic family reunion at this great property!

We stayed in June 2016 as a party of 12, and I cannot imagine a better place to have a family reunion. My Mom and Dad (65 and 70), my Sister and Brother in Law and their two young girls, and my wife and family (3 teens). The property was perfect and spacious enough that we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The pool and beautiful new Tiki Bar were perfect breaks from Sombrero Beach which is walking distance from the house. The on property volley ball court was great to finish games started at the beach. The house was in great condition with many upgrades.

The Property Manager, Guy, is right on top of any issues. On our second day, the refrigerator compressor quit and by 7 PM the same day, his crew delivered a brand new fridge (thanks Guy).

The house has beautiful views and is convenient to all necessities. The snorkeling is great by the lighthouse (excursion - not included), and for young children, I would highly recommend a visit to the Turtle Hospital just a couple of miles away (excursion - not included).

The Ultimate Family Vacation Location

First of all, while this property is a superb vacation rental, the property manager, Guy, is an absolutely superior property manager!!! Communication with Guy was always quick and thorough. He met us at the house for our check-in and took us on a tour of the property pointing out every big and little feature of the house and grounds. He explained how everything worked, timing of the landscape lighting, operation of the T.Vs. inside and outside at the Tiki Bar, etc. By the time he left, we felt we had a new friend. During our stay, we have a couple very minor issues - Guy always answered a text or cellphone call and could easily talk me through my forgetting how to operate something, and if that didn't work, he was there quickly. Having not only worked in real estate but also rented a number of homes in the Middle Keys area, I can assure you, Guy is the kind of property manager you want to deal with.

The property is fabulous. Our sons and their families (four grandchildren) loved having the use of the kayaks, and, of course, the pool was quite a hit! We were so happy they had removed some of the rocks by the ocean so we could wade into the water plus it affords the perfect spot to launch the kayaks. The Tiki Bar is superb - we had a number of meals there at the request of our grandchildren! I love to cook and prepared several meals, and I can assure you that the kitchen is great and has most everything you could wish for! The furnishings are great and the beds are really comfortable.

One day we went to Sombero Beach, which is great for a beach in the Keys, and so close to the house. While the kids enjoyed it, there were happier to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities there. It really is a wonderful vacation rental and is ideally located close to grocery stores, restaurants, the Turtle Hospital, Aquarium, etc. You really couldn't ask for more in a vacation property and a property manager!!

Family Dream Vacation

Our stay were more than relaxing, we had a lot of fun, the property was perfect for a big family of 12, everyone in a comfortable room with closets, tv room, play room, laundry room and much more. We found the house very clean and ready to enjoy. The location is perfect, close to the grocery store, restaurants and more, also just one hour driving to key west and 40 minutes from Islamorada. The house allowed us to take one of the most perfect pictures no matter the angle, early in the morning or for the sunset was espectacular!!! Special Thanks to Guy Moreau the property manager and his stuff for the support during our stay. Its worth It !!!!

Sombrero Beach House

I had my wedding (approx. 85 people in attendance) at this residency. The overall venue was breath taking...the view was amazing and made for beautiful pictures. I had wedding guests stay at the house, which was extremely convenient. Guy, the property manager, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Everything was absolutely PERFECT! Amazing memory I will never forget!
