Enjoyed the sun and warmth of the Palm Springs area

  • 3 of 5

Property was clean, enjoyed the fact that all of the supplies needed, except food, were supplied. Eric was on property once or twice during our two week stay and he was anxious to ensure the property met our needs. Several other individuals were available to assist as needed. Eric was clear on what he expected from us as renters. The property is somewhat away from the hub of activity, if you have a vehicle that is not an issue. We were disappointed with the TV. In the living room it is a mid century TV with limited cable, we found it difficult to navigate. In the bedroom the 20 inch monitor played DVDs only, not our ideal.

Cosy place

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is very clean and well decorated. We stayed 4 nights and easily felt at home. It is very spacious for two people. We were able to make some meals and do laundry in the adjacent laundry room. Eric was very prompt in answering all our questions. It is about 20 minutes drive from downtown Palm Springs and about 1hour drive to the northern entrances of Joshua Tree Park.

Palm Springs

  • 5 of 5

Eric's place was very cozy and a nice spot to hang out. In a quiet relaxing neighborhood, it's hard to do anything but take it all in. A beautiful scandinavian design made us feel at home- and with a kitchen fully stocked with anything one may need, we surely did feel welcome.

PERFECT Midcentury getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I rented this unit for a short weekend trip to the desert for relaxation and unwinding. What an amazing, easy rental! The unit itself was magically mid-century vintage and in immaculate condition. It was like walking into a time capsule... a fully stocked time capsule. There were trinkets and unique era pieces in every space. Its a quiet unit, a bit off the beaten path, but its a perfect place to relax and disappear for a short while. We stayed two nights and did a day-trip to the Salton Sea, Salvation Mountain & Slab City (conveniently located within 1-1.5 hrs away). Dealing with Eric was exceptionally easy, and the place was everything we needed and more. We'll happily stay again... in fact, we're trying to figure out when we can go back! Thanks again for a terrific rental!!!

Mid-Century California Desert Gem

  • 5 of 5

What a gem! The apartment was bright, spacious, comfortable, spotless and equipped with anything one might need to cook, sleep and relax (or work - as was the case for me). The decor is brilliant! It was hard not to pick up and examine all the amazing and fun mid-century finds throughout the apartment. The period apt complex has a lovely view of the valley and mountains, and is quite quaint and peaceful. The location in Desert Hot Springs is a great jumping off point for desert adventures - whether that means hiking in wondrous Joshua Tree and environs, wandering around Palm Springs, or taking a self-care timeout at one of the many spas in the area. Eric was the perfect host - communication was seamless and clear, and Eric was warm and very helpful. We didn’t meet, but I hope we will during a future stay, would enjoy hearing about his work, the creativity of which is so evident in the details of the apartment. My only regret is not taking advantage of the hot tub. Highly recommended!
