About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

attention to detail lacking

 • 4 of 5

nice house, great location but some lighting did not work, electronics either did not work or instructions on operation were wrong or batteries on remotes were missing. dishwasher would not run. attention to detail needs significant improvement.

Great location, comfortable, not quite as advertised

 • 3 of 5

The home was very clean and the location was great. It was nice to have passes to the SHARC - it's an easy bikeride away. All the beds were comfortable, although the layout could be more explicitly explained. One drawback was that three of the bikes were not rideable and there is not a child's bike as advertised. Also, there were other minor things that need repairing - the hottub, outdoor sprinklers (they just pour water on the walkways), several deck chairs, etc. The kitchen fits two people snugly - only a problem if you cook. Grill tools would be a good addition. Still, we had a good week.

I didn't realize the house doesn't have air conditioning!

 • 4 of 5

My family and I rented this house - it was my parents, my 3 children, my husband, and myself. The house fit us really well. My husband and I had the ground floor queen bedroom and full bath, and our kids used the ground floor beds and full bath. Unfortunately, my parents stayed up on the third floor room without a bathroom. There is no a/c of any kind on the house, and the top floor was very warm. The weather was in the high 80's during the day. The main floor stayed relatively comfortable and the ground floor was nice. We searched and found several fans, but a few were broken, so we had maybe three that worked. It wasn't unbearable but it wasn't ideal, either.

The house is comfortable and clean inside, but the gas grill was so dirty and greasey we couldn't grill on it. It was a big disappointment. We loved sitting out on the deck and we did that most of the time we were at the house. However, the deck and patio table were very dirty and hadn't been cleaned with the rest of the house, so we cleaned them off ourselves. The window coverings on the main floor were not in good condition, and we didn't open the blinds for fear we'd break them.

The kitchen is seriously lacking in up to date and well-functioning cookware. The frying pans and pots were in bad shape, and the stove had two burners and a griddle of some kind that took the place of where the other two burners are on a normal range. Had I known I would have brought my own pots, pans, plastic cutting board, etc. So, overall the kitchen was functional, but very dated.

The bikes in the garage need bike locks, so if you are planning to use those then bring your own bike locks.

There are really only two bedrooms with doors, and the area on the ground floor where there are two beds isn't a bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay and, while the house was pretty simple and lacking in modern and quality amenities, we found it to be relaxing and cozy.

Don't stay here!!!

 • 1 of 5

This property is not at all what the pictures imply. We had to move out after one night because it smelled of mold and dust. The furniture was old and dusty. It could be a nice place, but needs some work! Fortunately, the rental company Vacasa treated us properly and refunded most of our money.

Needs some major love

 • 2 of 5

I can see how this home at one time was a great place to stay. It's pretty run down and dingy now. Lots of different smells. The beds are really bad. It just needs some major TLC. We were afraid to use anything for fear it might break. We enjoyed the location and amenities.

House is older. Needs quite a few repairs. The layout is comfortable for a group. Bathrooms are adequate. Beds and bedding should just be thrown out and replaced.
