About Robyn

14 yrs in Ajijic; 53 yrs as an expat, having lived in fourteen countries. Fluent Spanish. Have a small 11 yr old rescue pup (non yappy), and I travel a lot. Love my village, and always willing to help out tenants if I can, with questions, referrals for doctors, dentists, taxi driver etc. etc. and much more. Just let me know how I can help!

Why Robyn chose Ajijic

The house is light, airy and art filled....a few blocks to the main plaza, close to everything in the village including .

restaurants and stands from street food to gourmet.... only 2.5 short blocks to the super market, cinemas, gym and Wednesday market. There are bus stops & a 24 hour pharmacy around the corner; the Ajijic Clinic/24 hr is within walking distance.

What makes this house unique

Owner lives on the property, in a separate apartment, when not away. The house is separate and private, set back from the street. There is a manager / handyman / electrician and plumber who respond quickly to your needs.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Robyn's house while we researched the Lake Chapala area.

The house is well appointed with comfy beds and other furniture. It's also centrally located. We could walk to the plaza and several restaurants & boutiques. The house is on a small side street so there isn't much traffic noise. We ate out most of the time but the kitchen is well stocked.

We liked the area so much that we have since moved here.

Have a look then book for your next getaway!

(Note: We stayed there September 2012 but there is no way to adjust the date)

We spent two wonderful months in Robyn's beautiful home. Everything is exactly as it appears in the photos. Beautiful art, courtyards and our favourite place the plant filled mirador. We loved staying in the village where Robyn's house is located. The town square, Malecon, grocery stores and restaurants are a short walk from Robyn's house. The 24 hour pharmacia and clinic are within a five minute walk. No need for a car! The neighbours are very friendly and it was really fun to see horses tied up on the street. Make sure you join the Lake Chapala Society while you are there. It is a great value with lots of activities. We loved our stay and we will be returning. Robyn is a great host!

Excellent home and location.

Ideal for couple or family, as home has two comfortable bedrooms and baths. Beautiful home with art work, added den, large deck for sun and views. Kitchen is complete and washer and dryer right there. Walk to everything in Ajijic and farther. Nicely furnished. Maid service was a big plus. Robyn is a dear person who will give you assistance about the area and very available to answer questions about the home. We quickly made friends. Real mexican neighborhood with U.S., Canadian and Mexican people who are all friendly. We were ready to move in if we could. Strongly recommend.

Great six months!

This was my base home when I moved down permanently in April. Gave me time to check out everything and decide where I wanted to live and find a house. The house is large, nicely furnished with a large patio upstairs where I spent a lot of time. It is a great location for getting around without a car. Many restaurants to choose from, pharmacia, groceries, lots of shopping, walking the malecon and more. Robyn is always available to take care of any requests or problem and we have become good friends Maid service 4 days a week. Nice neighbors and safe area.

A great place to stay for short or long term. Highly recommend.

Linda and Art

My wife and I wish to express our appreciation to Robyn for allowing us to spent

our two week vacation in her house. The house is centrally located, making it easy to

shop, dine, explore and take in the culture. The house layout was perfect, with

its beautiful patio and its surrounding views. Our timing was perfect, the National 16

September holiday was in full swing, in addition to the Rebozos Parade, Globos festival,

and various other parades and activities. On our next trip, we will rent Robyn's house,

because of its comfortable atmosphere, close proximity to restaurants, shops, plaza, Malecon and public transportation. I do not know how to describe the perfect place and

Location, Location!!!Thank you Robyn for being a wonderful host. with closing, I'll use

the German expression, Auf Wiedersehen, till we see you again.

We stayed at Robyn's house twice. The first was a short stay. The second was for 5 months! The house is beautiful, well-appointed and filled with beautiful art. We spent many hours on the partially covered upstairs patio filled with flowers. The location is ideal- walking distance to most anything in the village. The street is filled with friendly neighbors. Beds are comfy and no problems with hot water. Robyn is on-site and eager to promptly deal with issues although ours were as minor as needing a new light bulb. Book it. It is perfect.
