About eileen cash
Built in the early part of the 19th century, Springdale Farm was over 200 acres. Originally owned by the Mott family and used as a grain and vegetable crop farm, it derives its name from the many artesian springs on the property that supplied water for consumption and irrigation. We have heard of people coming from miles around in years past to enjoy the reported restorative powers of these springs. The former owners told us that George Eastman (founder of Kodak) even came here on several occasions. Both of the original barns are still on the property and have been kept in very good condition. The larger of the two barns was actually moved to its present site from Palmyra, NY and reassembled. Evidence of a foundation for a silo can be seen.
eileen cash purchased this House in 1998

The house was just as described. The location is quiet but convenient to everything you need. The kitchen was well appointed and had all the supplies we needed. The house was very pretty with lots of space. It was perfect for our business meeting as there was a good meeting space and plenty of room for privacy. Eileen gave us great directions for what to do and not do. Make sure you bring your own shampoo and soap. There is none in the showers.
Everything was great I would recommend this place for group stays.
I call Springdale my little oasis , in an urban area. Glad you appreciated my attention to details.
So .. So
I know this was a last minute plan but I was not fully satisfied with the stay.
1. There were used soap and toiletries in one of the rest room which was a real put off.
2. One of the toilet seat was cracked.
3. The chest of draws were dusty and not very clean
4. The house itself was rather old and things were falling apart like the microwave etc.
5. You need to be a rocket scientist to operate the fire place.
The plus point was Eileen was great and was accessible via phone and was a pleasure to deal with. Not a fan of the house though but was not very expensive. I guess you get what you pay for :)
Consumer reviews online have become a major factor in business reputation.

Fabulous spot for family get-away.
Our family of 5 couples and two children had a fabulous 4 days in this lovely house. The property is well maintained and simply beautiful. Each couple had their own room and bathroom, which is not easy to find, as well as electric fireplace and TV. Several rooms had a table with chairs for a a spot to enjoy morning coffee and the newspaper. We could cook together, play games, hang out outside. A perfect family long weekend. Thank you!
I am so glad you appreciated all I try to do to make it a clean, comfortable repreave for family and friends. I think the property has an all American beauty quality you just don't see much of anymore.
Thank you, please come again.
The house was very nostalgic and impressive. The ground were fantastic
There was a lot of room for the kids to play in the yard with ten acres to run around on. The house rooms were laid out great and having a bathroom in each room was very convienent. Great area a lot of good restaurants and places to shop. Would definantly stay again.
Thank you so much. We call Springdale our private kingdom!
Please come again.
Oh and thanks for leaving the lawn games. I have made them available for other families that visit.
Great home for a large family.
We had plenty of room in a very charming house. I only wish we had more time to actually stay in the house. Lots of TVs for the kids and a well appointed kitchen. Only one issue which can easily be taken care of. The shower curtain in the Tow Room needs cleaning. Beautiful landscaping and convenient to shopping. I'd stay again if we ever returned for a family reunion.
Our family celebrated our seventh annual family reunion at Springbrook Farm. The historical home was nicely decorated and provided plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group. We enjoyed the large yard and visiting old home towns and colleges nearby. We loved scenic New York! We did have one unfortunate experience on the first night that we cooked in the kitchen. The kitchen drain stopped up! We tried everything we could. Two of my sons, the engineer and the contractor, ran a snake and tried to fix it, but no go. We ended up washing the dishes outside with the hose! We called Eileen the next morning. She got a plumber and came out herself as well. We had fried Buffalo wings the night before and she was certain we had put grease down the drain. The plumber fixed the drain and found celery had stopped it up,not grease. My sons told her that they didn't think the 1 1/2 inch pipe and the garbage disposal on a septic system met the plumbing code. Nevertheless, the bill was $300 and we were expected to pay it! We were shocked that Eileen would expect us to do so. Needless to say, that was not a happy memory.
