Loved it!

This home was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. Very well stocked and comfortable, possibly the cleanest VRBO we've rented yet. The location is peaceful and serene since this community is just getting started. We walked the entire property in the 2 days we were there. The beaches are quiet, full of wildlife and unspoiled. The community pool is beautiful too, but a little chilly for us, not being heated and us being from south Florida. The boardwalk along the water in the west section of the property is an experience you dont want to miss. You can also take out a kyak which are available on the property.

This area is called the Forgotten Coast, and it is extremely laid back. No shopping malls or grocery chain so bring your own supplies. The two grocery stores in the area are 10 and 19 miles away. (I epect the area might grow as the community does) There are a couple of restaurants within driving distance, but we enjoyed cooking out and eating at the house.

This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back, next time we will rent a larger home and bring the family for our annual vacation.

Can we just move in please?!?!

  • 5 of 5

First off, this house looks like Chip and Joanna Gaines decorated it. It's beautiful, and so comfortable! If you love the outdoors, and seclusion, this is the place for you! We only saw one other family and one couple there the whole week. The beach is not what you would get from a developed area, but if you appreciate God's natural beauty and complete seclusion, you'll love this!

We canoed/kayaked to Turkey Point for a day (beautiful), went to the aquarium (kids loved it!), spent a day on St. George (please make your way to the state Park. You won't regret it!), then had a few relaxing days around summer camp. The pool was great and very private. Make your way to the beach at sunset and wade around. We found 3 starfish in just one evening, and made some great memories!!

We can't wait until next year to make our way back to summer camp beach and Sea LA Vie! Thank you so much for sharing the house with us. I can't say enough great things about the property manager Erika. She's by far the best property manager ever!

Just beatiful!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures of this house really don't do it justice. The house is gorgeous inside and out. We loved the secluded feel of the area - it was so quiet and peaceful. Our kids had a blast being so close to the ocean and exploring low tide. Plus, there were so many awesome places to explore within short drives. Our favorites: the boat ride at Wakulla Springs State Park, St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, St. Georges island for swimming, Apalachicola for shopping, Gulf Specimen Marine Lab for the kids. We didn't find a bad restaurant. Our family loved it!

A Beautiful and Quiet Location!

  • 5 of 5

SummerCamp was a great choice! We had a wonderful vacation! The house was great! It had lots of coastal charm and was fully stocked with the little extras you would need on your Florida vacation! The pool was just a short walk away, as was the ocean! Lots of wildlife and sea life to enjoy! It was very quiet and relaxing! We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Charm

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at "Sea La Vie" at Summer Camp Beach the week of 3/18/17. The house is perfectly set for a relaxing quiet week. Walked out the back door onto a screened in Porch with a table and chairs to relax at. Looking out the porch door was a path straight to the gorgeous beaches. The house are private from others with the palms and other foliage. We seen two families all week. Super quiet and beautiful. Very rural setting. Just a short walk to the pool house and the boat house that had Kayaks and life vest for our use. I would definitely love to come back to this same house annually. The house is set up beautifully and so comfortable. Everything you need is there. The beaches are white sands and clear aqua waters. Best vacation house hands down. Erika met us within 10 minutes of our arrival and was very helpful. St George Island is a quick 30 minute drive down the coast. Apalachicola is about he same distance and is a cute little town with lots of shopping and great food. We visited Carabelle for fresh seafood to bring back and cook one night

Cozy cottage, complete with all the necessary amenities, close to beach

  • 5 of 5

Perfect quick getaway with the kids for spring break! Beautifully decorated, and well equipped, we cooked in every meal and enjoyed our time inside as much as our time outside. Easy walk to beach on the trail! A little nippy in March so we built a fire on the beach and were able to comfortably enjoy our time in the sun. Would recommend to families or for a couples getaway!
