Daniel was an incredible host and so accommodating! It was a perfect mini get away spot and everything that I was looking for! The cabin was everything I needed it to be, peaceful, relaxing, away from the city life!
Great Rustic Glamping Adventure!
A friend and I set out to find a cabin in the woods to have a campfire and to make it feel like we were camping but better. We hiked Fall Creek Falls and then spent the rest of the evening at this adorable cabin. They had plenty of firewood for the fire pit. The frogs in the pond by the cabin was a huge bonus. The next day we went to Cumberland Caverns to an underground concert in the cave. All this was about 30min each direction from this cabin. A property owner with her sweet baby met us to say hello and to assure us if we needed anything they are just up the road and will take care of our needs. We loved this little get away place to accomplish "glamping" and a fun time listening to nature.
Great rustic cabin
Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. Cabin has all the amenities you need. Great wraparound porch.
NOT FANCY BUT PEACEFUL AND RELAXING
The cabin was peaceful and relaxing. The owners were helpful. Internet was good. It was a good central location, with lots of activities to explore in surrounding areas. Nashville and Chattanooga were only about an hour away. When the moon is shining, it puts a soft glow in the cabin. The sun peeps in in the morning to gently wake you. Our daughter thought it was funny that the neighbor roosters woke us up as well. She had never heard roosters announcing it was morning! You will feel rested when you wake up. But if it's too early, just ignore the sun and roosters and go back to sleep.
Be sure to stop in at the Crossville-Cumberland County Visitor Center. They have tons of helpful information. We drove part of the Promised Land Driving Tour, which overlaps some of the Civil War Driving Tour. It was very interesting.
First impression, cute rustic country feel.
The renter was more than helpful in assisting with our stay and friendly. The cabin had an adorable country feel to it. Our stay was an excellent retreat from our long day of hiking. Would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay here again!
