Set in the enchanting Umbrian hills and close to Gubbio, Montereano, is the ideal place to live in close contact with nature and to unwind from everyday life. It is situated in a dominant position in front of the medieval town with the Palazzo dei Consoli which is clearly visible from the house. Montereano was the ancient country house of the illustrious geologist Guido Bonarelli, today is a living organic farm held by the same family. It has 4 apartments (2 bedroom apartments, Cedro and Nespolo, 2 studios, Ginepro and Quercia) and 2 rooms with bathroom (Lavanda and Ginestra), a terrace, a day room, a wide italian garden with ancient trees and an outdoor pool 6 x 11 m. In the recent renovation were taken innovative solutions for energy systems (geothermal and photovoltaic). The farm produces and packages in its own laboratory not only organic food, but also superfood, good for men’s health (cereals and ancient legumes, extra virgin olive oil, linseed oil, honey, vegetables and fruit).

I am the grandson of my great-grandfather Guido Bonarelli (famous scientist - see Wikipedia). I studied english, french and russian language at the university and decided to continue to work in the organic farm and guest house of my family because I love nature, open air life and change of experiences with our international guests.

On the hills opposite the historic medieval town of Gubbio, a short distance from Assisi, Perugia, Urbino, Siena, Arezzo. In an hour you get to the Adriatic Sea (Fano, Senigallia, Ancona). In about two hours in Rome or Florence.
