About Christina Zacharia
I'm originally from Greece and have now lived in Amsterdam for three and a half years. I still love Amsterdam and traveling. Jordaan is my favorite neighbhorhood, it has the sense of living in the authentic picturesque Amsterdam you see in pictures without too many tourists.
Christina Zacharia purchased this Apartment in 2017
Why Christina Zacharia chose Jordaan
This apartment will give you the authentic feeling of being a local living in the Jordaan. All the important sights are a short walk away, but importantly you are surrounded by the local shops, markets, restaurants, and cafe's of the Jordaan. You could spend a weekend here and never have to wander farther than 100 meters away from the apartment!

Great place, great location!
When we were looking for a place to stay during our trip to Amsterdam, we knew that we had found that place when we looked over Christina's 51-C, Rozengracht apartment description. We stayed for a week enjoying the apartment's closeness to restaurants, cafe's, grocery store, canals, tram, Ann Frank Museum, and ice cream. The tram stops were close enough for us to get on and off without any problem and walking was also a good way to get around as well. Would we go back, yes! Would we tell others to stay there, yes! The front window gave us a chance to people watch and the small back balcony overlooking the courtyard gave us a quiet place. The washer and dryer were also a plus for staying there.
Great Space Near to Everything
We loved this place. We were in Amsterdam for 10 days and it was actually enjoyable to spend a night in on the big couch and back balcony. Would definitely go back. Only thing is it was a bit warm. There is no AC and temperatures were hitting ~30 Celsius. Paini brought a fan, which helped a bit. From what I understand, Netherlands doesn’t normally get consistent temperatures that hot, so it may have been an anomaly. Would still stay there again. :)
beautiful space, well designed apartment. very spacious and comfortable. modern and classy.
We loved the place and found it extremely convenient to so much of what we wanted to see and experience in Amsterdam. The proximity to the trams was ideal. The local restaurants were fabulous... all within walking distance to the apartment.
We were constantly commenting on the ideal location of our apartment to the inner city shopping, museums and places to eat.
We would stay there again without a doubt the next time we're in Amsterdam.
The host/house manager was very welcoming and did a great job of introducing the place to us when we first arrived. Our experience was the best.
Perfect apartment and location.
We stayed at this apartment for six nights. It was super clean and comfortable! I wish I could have taken the couch home...
The sheets and towels were nice and clean, smelled like they were freshly laundered.
This apartment had everything you could possibly need during your stay. All the basics plus so many extras!
The triple windows worked amazingly to keep out the traffic noise in the living room at night as we used the couch as an extra bed. The bedroom was pretty quiet with the windows open at night.
There was a cute little balcony at the back where I enjoyed my morning coffee.
There is a tram stop very close, though we walked everywhere! You see so much more of the city when you walk.
The grocery store was right down the street and a larger one just a bit further...both very easy to walk to!
Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again. We also loved Amsterdam and definitely hope to be back!

Wonderful introduction to Amsterdam!
Christina’s apartment more than met our expectations. It was well furnished, the location was perfect and we walked everywhere. Panini was wonderful when we arrived and answered all our questions.
Loved hearing the bells from Westerkerk and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck.
We would love to return to Amsterdam and reserving this apartment would be our first task.
Thank you, Christina and Paini, for a wonderful stay!
Perfect! It's central, clean, well equipped and spacious.
Christine's Jordaan apartment was exactly what we were looking for. We spent five great days and enjoyed all amsterdam has to offer. The apartment was spotlessly clean, fully equipped to make a sandwich or dinner. Comfortable bed, roomy living room and modern bathroom with plenty of fluffy towels. Shampoo etc. We could not ask for anything more! Stairs are a bit steep but manageable and wider than the usual Dutch staircases. Be careful if you have mobility issues though.
The street is busy and can be noisy but the windows are triple glazed and keep out the noise. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment and very quiet however.
Paini was waiting for us and gave us the tour plus left her phone number in case we needed her. Christine checked in with us well. Please consider this apartment for your visit to Amsterdam, the photos are honest. The Dutch sweet treats and the bottle of wine were a welcome bonus!
THE NEIGHBORHOOD This is the famous Jordaan neighborhood in Amsterdam. I love it because it is the genuine Amsterdam. You can walk anywhere in the center within 15 minutes but also easily spend a weekend here without walking more than 150 meters with everything within a stone's throw. Trendy shops, bakeries, cafe's, and restaurants are peppered all around. The Anne Frank House is a short walk on the Prinsengracht. GETTING AROUND In this neighborhood everything is pretty much within 10-15 minutes walking, so I would really recommend walking or renting a bicycle. There is a tram stop a two minute walk away (13 and 17) and also a bus stop. Getting to and from Schiphol Airport you take bus 197 (10 minute walk) which comes about 3 times an hour, costs 4 Euro, and takes about 35 minutes. If you prefer to get a ride, I recommend an Uber, it will cost about 23 Euro and take ~25 minutes. To and from Centraal Station you can take Tram 17 or 13 and takes about 11 minutes. If you are going to use the public transport I suggest you buy a 24 or 48 hour pass. Otherwise you will pay 2.70 Euro for a single 1-hour ride pass!
