About the property

Spacious 5 bedroom 3 bathroom sleeps 9. Free unlimited WiFi and Smart TV

Causeway Coast Country House is set in an idyllic location 3 miles outside Bushmills yet is within 10 minutes of the busy towns of Coleraine and Ballymoney. Close to the Causeway Coast it is not unusual to awaken to the sounds of wild pheasants calling as they stroll through the gardens or adjacent fields.

It was completed in 2010 and is designed purely with holidaymakers in mind with generous gardens, designer kitchen and utility room, 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room and sun room to sit and enjoy unspoiled views of the surrounding countryside. Step out the double doors from the sun room to a south facing 238 sq. ft patio to enjoy a barbecue, coffee or to just take in the peace and quiet.

After a days relaxing you can refresh in the main bathroom which contains a pressurised tower shower with 6 side jets before deciding which of the many local restaurants (which we can book in advance for you) to try.

We can also organise golf tee times and taxis on request.

We completely redecorated in 2014 and added all new pocket sprung mattresses for a relaxing nights sleep. Guests can also use our unlimited WiFi and new 32' flat screen smart TV for Netflix, Youtube and many more catch up TV.

Causeway Coast Country House is ideally located for Golfers with 6 championship golf courses within 10 minutes drive.

Why Darren Pollock chose Bushmills

Hundreds of satisfied guests have had a fantastic stay here. The constant 5 star reviews and repeat guests are testament to this.

What makes this house unique

The views over miles of unspoilt countryside have to be seen to be believed. No neighbours and miles of walks mean a peaceful stay in the countryside for you and your pets yet we are a short taxi ride from some of the best restaurants the North Coast has to offer.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Firstly I would like to thank you and Sharon. You were both very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were all very impressed with the house. The location was perfect for a relaxing break and perfectly situated to explore the north Antrim coast. It think it would be the perfect accomodation for tourists from outside Northern Ireland and the personal input from both you and Sharon would be invaluable.

From my experience of renting similar sized properties in the north Antrim area your property has been the best in respect of both facilities and value for money.

Great place and great location for seeing the Giant's Causeway, Bushmill's and North Coast of Northern Ireland. The house was perfect for our group of 6 and very comfortable.

Great holiday cottage for two families.

  • 5 of 5

Cottage is clean, spacious in very quiet rural location but only 5 mins to Bushmills and 15 - 30 mins to coastal towns and Giant Causeway. Ample parking and large garden for kids to play in. Dog enjoyed walks down the lanes. A good lounge with TV etc and another sun lounge off the kitchen to relax. Patio at rear is sun trap but sun was temperamental during our stay. Bedrooms very spacious. Portrush has lovely surfing beach/sands and had excellent meals at North 55 restaurant and at the harbour restaurants too. Stunning coast line with lots of quiet coves & beaches to explore. Very friendly welcoming locals. Only 90 mins max to Belfast for visit to Titanic museum (allow at least 1/2 day) and enjoyed open top bus tour of Belfast which is a beautiful city with much more to come within the Titanic quarter. Can't wait to go back.

Quiet, Secluded and Lovely!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a little while trying to find the right lane because the sign we were looking for had been removed the week prior. However, that was a blessing because we met a nice neighbor who actually escorted us to the home! If you go, simply look for a blue silo and you'll be fine. The home was so spacious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The washer and dryer worked great. The host even left some detergent for us because I had asked about it. What I loved most was the seclusion! There was a cow pasture and sheep pasture right close by. There was a nice lane for walking. The views were spectacular because it was all open. Even though we had 9 people it never felt crowded. The wifi worked great. I would love to go back and stay for a longer trip because it was perfectly located for all the attractions on the coast. LOVED IT!

Quiet and Large enough for big families

  • 5 of 5

Well maintained cottage.Plenty of room for everybody if you need to get out of the way for some peace and quiet.

Darren was very helpful especially when we lost internet access after a thunderstorm.

Plenty of things to do for the week plus nowhere is to far away really, with Belfast just over an hour away.

All our party had a good time.

Thank you Darren

Rural, Quiet, and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

In a rural but within 3 miles of the town of Bushmills and maybe 5 miles from the coast. We nine slept comfortably, cooked in the kitchen, and late in the day hung out in the sun room. A number of golf courses are close including Portrush the sight of the 2017 Open. Darren, our host, had suggestions for restaurants and things to do. It was a great stay and would come again.
