About Carol Pryce

A retired Afro-Jamaican woman who has long wanted to be involved more fully in an activity which has me hosting. Now that I have moved from my corporate responsibilities, I can indulge this desire while I continue to earn.

I have traveled some, Europe, USA, Caribbean, Canada , Sri Lanka and still has more in mind. Loves the theatre and the movies. Cannot resist the call of good music, though I am more limited in that activity these days. I am a foodie who love to entertain and being from a large family our household is often with people.

Honesty and integrity are watchwords for me. I am a Christian who welcomes persons from all cultures and religious persuasion. I am a mothering type and one of my greatest joys is to know that each and every guest goes away with a truly positive and memorable experience and since my home adjoins the rental property we are almost always available.

This is one of Kingston's best neighborhood, yet very central with lots of amenities close by.

Beautiful quiet up-scaling neighbourhood but close to all amenities, places of entertainment, churches etc. The hostess and her team provides a truly warm and familial setting. We'll do much to ensure that guests are happy and satisfied and will help to provide access to any or all other experiences that a visitor may want to taste.

We had a very comfortable stay at the "Inn" located in the Barbican district of Kingston Jamaica.

We had a very comfortable stay at the "Inn" located in the peaceful Barbican district of Kingston. It was a true home away from home. The home is charming, spacious and very well kept with views of the hills side from the rear of the house. The owner Carol was welcoming and super helpful with all things related to the home along with great tips for directions and local shops and restaurants. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for comfortable and peaceful stay.

Owner's Response: Russell and family were super guests. They were communicative prior to arrival, so that my own time could be well used during what is a busy time of year,. Very responsive to house rules such as security requirements, and importantly, and clearly, treated this home as they do their own. Once you've entered through the foyer, you can choose to either recline in the comfortable,spacious lounge, or grab a quick meal in the dining room immediately across from the modern well equipped kitchen. For more quiet moments, the classic living room or the adjoining wrap around veranda out looking the lush, well fruited back yard provides another great option. A beautiful chandelier lights the way up a grand wooden staircase taking you to the master suite where 2 queen sized beds await you along with a wall mounted flat screen TV and classic bedroom pieces. The ensuite bathroom is a delight with double sinks and separate bathtub and shower. The adjoining balcony is the offers a quiet spot with a view of the mountains as well as a retro marble topped desk for the executive taking work home. The two other bedrooms upstairs, which share a bathroom, each boast a queen sized bed, a computer desk, a wall mounted flat screen TV and classic bedroom pieces. There is an additional bedroom downstairs with a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Apart from a smoke free environment, you will also enjoy cleaning service, a laundry area with washer and drier, security, air conditioned rooms, wifi and cable. To top it off you start each day with a choice of exotic Caribbean fruits in season along with hot and cold beverages, courtesy of your host.
