About the property

I'm honored you chose my home. This is my personal residence. During your stay in my entire home, I visit with friends. My home is close to restaurants, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the location, comfy living, cul-de-sac neighborhood, wifi, and there's a grill in the fenced backyard. As last minute cancellations are costly - My place is perfect for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers who are committed to their booking dates.

The space

As the real estate saying goes, location location location. The property is ideally located in between Dublin and Worthington. Minutes from restaurants, entertainment and the business sectors of both communities. Simply take 315 South for a quick ride to downtown Columbus. Situated in a cul-de-sac the property enjoys a quiet, mature neighborhood.

The property is a three level split with seven steps upstairs or six steps down to the other levels of the home. When you enter the property you will be in the living room and to your left you'll find the kitchen. Upstairs you will find the bedrooms and a full bathroom and downstairs you'll find the family room with a large flat screen TV, fireplace, utility room and the other bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. Extra pillows, blankets and towels are in the closet. Tissues, Travel sized shampoo and conditioner are also provided.

Ceiling fan in the Kitchen and master bedroom, central air/heat, and WiFi are just a few conveniences you will enjoy during your stay. The master bedroom is fitted with Calvin Klein bed linen (gotta love high thread counts - feels amaaazing) and the bath towels are new.

Kitchen is fully equipped with major appliances, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, and a coffee maker. The spacious dining room contains a dinette table (seats 2), the kitchen island (seats 2), and a high chair. The island is on wheels to move around the room. The living room has a 36-inch flat screen TV, and is furnished with a love seat and an extra deep couch -

providing additional sleeping space if needed.

Outside, you'll enjoy a fenced backyard, with a swing set/toddler slide, patio with furniture that seats 5. Umbrella and seat cushions are located inside the garage.

Guest access

Guests will have access to community areas of the home such as the dining room, fully stocked kitchen, family room, laundry room and bathrooms. Coffee/tea/bedside chocolates are provided complimentary, however, I do ask you to reimburse me with grocery money for any wine, beer, food or snacks from the kitchen that you consume. Guests will also have access to the fenced backyard and patio. Feel free to use the gas grill - simply clean it after you are done using it. Guests can park their cars either in the driveway or in the street - whichever they prefer.

For reservations with 4-6 guests,

There are two twin size mattresses available for your use, located in the utility room, simply pull them out and place in the adjacent family room. Let me know if you plan to use the mattresses and I will set out the bed linen.

Interaction with guests

Since guests dictate how much or how little they would like to interact with me, if certain guests would like to be social and include me that is fine and for those guests who want to be independent and do their own thing that is also fine as well.

Other things to note

A custom made key code will be generated for the keyless entry lock upon your successful booking.

There are two twin size mattresses available for your use, located in the utility room, simply pull them out and place in the family room. Let me know if you plan to use the mattresses and I will set out the bed linen.

I use Tide detergent to wash the bed linen/body pillow. I use a regular fabric softener. If you prefer no fabric softener, please provide this information in your correspondence. I use an ink free/fragrance free toilet paper.

Howdy! I’m Jake. I’m a 42 year old guy originally from New York, and while I miss my friends and family back home (not to mention the beach!), I absolutely love my mid-west home here in Columbus, Ohio!

By day I’m a real estate investor and by night I’m a social butterfly with my friends.

I enjoy travelling and creating new experiences. My favorite country is Guatemala. The people, the food and the historical sites are breathtaking. My favorite city is Chicago. Through these travels and coupled with my 12 years landlording, I’ve been fortunate to learn what makes a great host: a great home, with a friendly host, in an awesome neighborhood, and the ability to do the things you love! I try to ensure that each and every guest I host walks away with all of that and hopefully more.
