Beautiful quaint cottage
This is not a usual rental, this a home! We loved it! From the moment we saw this house, we fell in love! Not only is this in a perfect location, it has a beautiful view of the water where swans pass by every morning. The house has it all. The house was spotless. Kitchen has everything you could ever want or need. Every appliance was there. The owner left a welcoming gift in the refrigerator which was so thoughtful and appreciated! Bathrooms were spotless with plenty of toiletries and towels. Comfortable living room. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Our favorite place was the back porch. We ate all our meals outside. We loved the fire pit, having coffee on the pier. We hated to leave it. I loved speaking to Tom a few times before we arrived. I felt like I ‘d known him for years! I was so excited to meet him and his son the day we left. I was so sad the day we left. I was not only leaving my hometown again, but I was leaving a wonderful, quaint, comfortable, well kept home. This house will stay in my heart forever! We will return to the Margurite Cottage again! Thank you again for sharing not only your beautiful home but sharing the history of this great family and home! We loved it!
Beautiful waterfront home away from home
I am thrilled to leave a review for this property because it was an unexpected delightful stay.
We arrived late at night and found ourselves feeling at home immediately. Each room had its own set of towels and bathrobes neatly arranged. Kitchen was arranged efficiently with everything we needed for coffee and meals. We cherished the outdoor lawn with beautiful waterfront views and a big hammock under the trees. The children in our group played in the garden and in the sand. We had to push ourselves to leave the house and explore beaches/vineyards 10 minutes away.
We also loved the outdoor shower and grill.
Overall this cottage gave us a relaxed getaway and beautiful memories. Highly recommend this cottage. The living area can feel small if you are in a group but with that outdoor space, you won't be spending any time indoors.
The owner was very kind and helpful , a thorough professional. It was a pleasure talking to him.
